If we have loads of shopping or things to do Amanda's is a great place to stay overnight. It's by the sea so we fall asleep with the sound of waves at night and wake to a fantastic breakfast cooked by Amanda. There are even little extras in the room to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Top place to stay

Beautifull view from the room. Friendly service. Excellent breakfast. Good wi fi. Clean rooms. Attention te detail. Very good facilities. Would always recommend Amanda's B&B when you are in the area. Situated right accross the beach. Easy beach access for long walks.

One of the Best

We visited the guesthouse for our 12 anniversary and Amanda the owner really treated us with a nice breakfast daily. We were walking distance from restaurants short distance to drive from bigger shopping centres an close to shore. Nice area to go for exercise next to sea. Occommodationis tops very clean and comfortable

Great place at sea shore

Great place to stay with awesome views and excellent service! Clean and bright airy rooms gives you the feeling you are on holiday. Although it was for business, will definitely come back for a holiday! 

Awesome Place!

We were met by Amanda and a steep set of narrow steel and wooden spiral stairs. My colleague and I were advised that we’d booked the seaview room, which had one single bed. We had deliberately booked a double twin bed seaview room and marked that request in the comments box. We were advised that if we wished that, we’d need to pay for 2 rooms as the twin bed room was downstairs and although vacant, was not made up. The room I eventually stayed in had a tired olive green trim, with an old 1980’s cream bathroom en suite. We never did have the pluck to ask about the wifi code. Breakfast was pleasant, but we were glad it was a short stay. If you’re in EL, rather stay at The Edge for a simmilar cost.

Disappointing 12hrs of overnight business stay.

We spent two nights at Amanda's B&B, which had a tastefully decorated and clean room that convinced us immediately, but the best part was that Amanda was always there to help in any situation.

Two extraordinary days.

Very nice reception and an upgrade, great tips for the surroundings and what to do about it, direct beach routes separated only by the little dunes, you can only recommend further.

More than a B&B. It makes you feel at home.

A wonderful B&B with a friendly, patented hostess. Here you feel at home. Our room was lovingly decorated, very comfortable bed and a big fancy bathroom. We slept fantastically. The balcony overlooking the sea was lovely for an evening South African wine. Of course, you can also find a windproof candle at Amanda for this purpose. A beautiful garden with pool - why should you actually give up swimming pool at a B&B by the sea????? Everything is very clean and well maintained. An oasis for well-being. That's why we booked another refreshment after our original booking three nights!!! Thank you Amanda for the wonderful time.

Feelings of Purity

Supernette hostess in a fancy, well-maintained house, room with everything you need to do, including Sherry as a Good Night Snick excellent breakfast, the beach just a stone's throw away, but nature-free.

Nice quiet B+B

Very nice B&B, lovingly furnished and very hospitable run by Amanda, with whom you can talk very well, which also gave us a better insight into this beautiful but unfortunately socially not yet tense country. Your statement about the peaceful people here has delighted and reassured us, but you read it to be negative. Our very limited experience of living here with so many really friendly people of all colours, maybe this is the most beautiful souvenir from South Africa, at least if you are still a little romantic with the hope of a better world for ALL... for the excursion...:r cleaner and closer to the sea, whose noise makes us sleep wonderfully. Sorry we felt like we were getting married!
