We absolutely loved our stay at Draaihoek. Neat & clean accommodation. We took a few walks to the beach, which was absolute bliss. All the staff members were very helpful and friendly. The food was divine.

Relaxing weekend with hubby

Friendly, helpful and attentive staff where nothing was too much effort; Rooms were well equipped and spacious. Beautiful, quiet, relaxing surroundings, complete with grazing springbuck; definitely worth revisiting.


Amazing

I really liked my stay at this place. The rooms were cozy and private, and I had a great time at the private beach and the heated pool. The restaurant was really nice and the food was delicious. I'm definitely planning to go back and stay for a longer time. It was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

Really relaxing

We shared time with our family at Draaihoek over the festive season. A wonderful time made so much better by excellent food, wonderful service and the sound of breaking surf in the background. Thank you ever so much.

Draaihoek

This has been a most relaxing and beautiful experience. The service was excellent and the breakfast outstanding. The place is so calm and relaxing with the most beautiful unspoiled beaches. Our morning walks was incredible with the sighting of seals and bokkies along the way. 

Best experience

Draahoek lodge is a place where you can visit repeatedly. Private beaches and dunes in a nature reserve . You hear the roar of the ocean waves. The staff is always welcoming and the food is consistently of high quality. We personally visit almost every time we visit Cape Town. The two hour drive from the city is worth it.

Ocean delight

Staff very friendly and efficient. Chef prepared very tasty food. The linen and decor could be brought up to date. The WiFi was a challenge as is the cell phone signal if you are not on Vodacom. This can be a blessing as it is very remote and close to nature. The private beach is great for a long morning walk. A shower cap for the shower would have been a good touch.

Good break from the rat race

If you want at most recreation then this place is yours.
Service is placed importance. Very kind reception. Good dinner at Sunset. Wine selection is locally but fine. It wasn’t our first trip to Draaihoek Lodge and we never were disappointed.
Nice place also for couples.

Lovely unspoiled place to relax

Very welcoming and accomodating . Great food and lovely walks . We particularly enjoyed the herd of springbok walking passed the resturant as well as the bird life at the waterhole.  We will definitely return . 

A lovely surprise

The place is very peaceful and relaxing. Myself and husband found it very romantic as well. The staff is very friendly, and the manager with staff made us feel very at home. The food is of good quality, and the place is extremely clean. Thank you, we will be visiting soon.
