Beautifully set in exquisite gardens with stunning views of Homestead Lake. Welcoming hostess who met us at the airport (15 minutes away!). Clean, neat rooms with comfortable beds and en-suite with private entrance and shared terrace area. Rooms are equipped with hostess tray, desk and T.V., perfect to setup your laptop to catch up with the world. Ideally situated to main transport links, shops, entertainment venues and has secure parking. 

The proximity to Homestead Lake makes for a wonderful morning run with abundant bird life to be seen. The full English breakfast, made to order, will set you right for the busy day ahead and I was most grateful that my vegetarian dietary requirement was catered for brilliantly. If you have a special food request, the hostess goes out of her way to source it.

We have always experienced a warm welcome and comfortable stay over many years.

Beautiful gardens close to lake

One way to describe it... Outstanding in every regard! Central location, very attractive, close to water. Excellent security. Clean and comfortable, room and breakfast fabulous. Hosts and staff warm, friendly and super efficient. Can't think of a negative comment. You can't be disappointed!

Outstanding in every regard!

Excellent establishment with a very friendly hostess - Astrid -  spotless and helpful. My experience at Homestead Lake Cottage as a regular guest over the past 3 years can only be described as "Home from Home". I am a frequent traveller staying at many 4 & 5 star graded accommodation establishments and I would rate Homestead as one of the top three. I have always received 5 star treatment with excellent meals including suppers. My wife that joins me on the odd ocasion concurr.
The establishment is kept in an immaculate condition with a stunning garden and beatifull views of the Lake. I also enjoy the safety and tranquility of the surrounding area at Homestead as I enjoy my morning jog. I would certainly recommend you to stay at Homestead.

Very regular guest

Rude, uncooperative 'owner/manager. paid  full amount to attend quilt festival being held close by.  Without informing or consulting me, she transferred our booking to another guest house. only informed me 3 weeks prior to festival of changes that she made. When we were not happy about the alternative accommodation, she refused to pay back the monies that I paid into her account. Her response was I have to get my money from a person, with whom I had no agreement with. bad, bad experience
