2 nights in Franschhoek at Maison d'Ail.     The owner is lovely and very helpful.    Maison d'Ail is a great place to stay.   Rooms are very spacious and breakfast is perfect.  It is within walking distance of the town and takes about 10 minutes but it's a nice walk and we would definitely stay again.

Franschhoek Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Honeymoon at Maison D'Ail Guest House. Not only are the people working there incredible and kind but our whole stay was phenomenal. I would hands down recommend a visit here and we cannot wait to go back. The Maison d'Ail Guest House is also in the perfect location as its walking distance to the centre of Franschhoek and you still get to wake up and see the incredible mountains surrounding Franschhoek. 

Honeymoon

Excellent and very friendly staff, spotless clean rooms and bathrooms with all you need, very good breakfast according to your choice, quiet place within a 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre.
We will definitely come back again!

Back for the third time!

We chose the room with the balcony and Mountain View. A truly spectacular outlook to enjoy the stunning sunrise and sunset. The staff were hospitable and the house elegantly furnished with a relaxed atmosphere and an honestly bar. 

A perfect place to enjoy Franschhoek

Lovely overnight stay for a wedding. Friendly host and staff. Outstanding breakfast. Facilities are good. Pool and plenty of balconies and loungers to enjoy a book. Easy access without disturbing the host

Lovely stay

We have stayed with Clive a number of years and regard as a ‘ home way from home’
Very clean with big light rooms and comfortable sitting areas. Outside spaces provide plenty of sunbathing opportunities but the pool can be a tad cold

Home from home

My sister and I stayed at Maison d'Ail following a recommendation from a group of friends who had stayed there a few years prior; I was not disappointed. The room  was extremely comfortable and cosy, breakfast was delicious and the communal areas were a delight. I will definitely return. 

Perfect stay

staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Owner was very flexible and lenient when we had a mixup with the booking. Evey thing worked out great! A nice short walk to wine trams and breakfast was always ready early.

Accessible and well run

We stayed in 2 in room no.5 and were spoiled with its generous space and classy ambience.
We found ourselves spoiled anew the very next morning simply by attending the breakfast which was included in the price. Can wholeheartedly recommend this guest-house.
