This was a fantastic place. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The staff working at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. 

It was in a good location and I'd definitely stay again if I was in the area. Highly recommended. 

A home away from home

This was my fifth visit to Corner House and my first visit since renovations were recently completed. I was blown away.

My usual room #1 Balcony Suite is even better than before, being much larger now that the room has been enlarged to include a huge full bathroom (there was no bath before).

The buffet cold breakfast is also much more varied than before, offering juices, cereals, yoghurts, cold smoked trout, various cheeses, breads and croissants. Cooked breakfasts can be ordered on request. 

Another major change is that the residence is now off- grid, so no longer effected by load-shedding power cuts.

And still one of the very few accommodation establishments in Franschhoek to be pet-friendly.

A great guesthouse has got even better….

We had a ladies weekend getaway in the most beautiful ,clean ,warm and amazing place. We had an amazing experience at the guesthouse. The service was top-notch, and the place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Corner House to anyone looking for quality and excellent service. 

Amazing experience. 

Nice house with a nice garden an terrace to take breakfast. Breakfast was very good snd the granola was outstanding. The location is ideal, very calm and safe and yet you are only a short walk from the mainstreet. Unfortunatly we were short on schefule and could only stay 1 night. Would recommend it to anyone.

Nice stay in Franschhoek

Lovely accommodation, welcoming hosts. Short walk into the beautiful town centre. Beds were extremely comfortable, great shower and air conditioning was much needed. 
Didn't have the breakfast but it looked lovely. ...................

Lovely guest house

We stayed in room 3 which has a very comfortable super king bed made with Egyptian cotton bedding. The en-suite was very small but was ok. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very close to the Main Street for restaurants, art galleries and shopping. An excellent find!

A Real Haven!

I spent 3 nights and it was wonderful. The room is clean and nicely furnished. The room is maybe not that big, but it is not a problem according to me. 
The Corner House is close to the main street in Franschhoek. Maybe a 5 minute walk and you are there. 
There is a parking inside the perimeter for 3-4  cars.
Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit. You can also order warm dishes (3 different kinds I think it was)
A nice part is also the pool are when you can relax in the afternoon.
WIFI was working without any problem.
The personnel were very friendly an helped us with taxi, when we couldn't get an Uber (which otherwise is to recommend). We took an Uber to Cape Town and it was about 400 ZAR single trip.

Amazing place

Fantastic stay. We stayed in annexe Privé, with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Great size for 3 of us and cot accommodated for with our little girl. Such a great location for walking into town. Breakfast also delicious and staff were fantastic at helping us with different questions. Would highly recommend

Great guest house in prime location

Stayed at the Corner House a couple of times now and I absolutely love it. Breakfast is great, the rooms are cozy yet elegant and the service is top notch. Stayed in No 8 which is a self catering apartment for 2 with a lovely decorated small kitchen. There is a lot of attention to details, Charlotte Rhys amenities, lovely porcelain hand-made in Cape Town and so on. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend to stay here! Also, Le Lude, Deux Lions and Haute Cabrière are within walking distance, as is the famous wine tram, Woolies and the great revamped Checker‘s food and bottle store. Will definitely come back!

The absolute best place to stay in Franschhoek

We had such a lovely stay at the Corner House, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We received a complimentary upgrade too! The breakfast was delicious! Such a quiet little spot in Franschhoek to relax and enjoy this beautiful part of South Africa. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this as a lovely place to stay! Thank you
