Wedding was canceled with 100% refund promise as per email and Whatsapp. Unfortunately I did not receive my accommodation refund of R9 700.00. Spoke to Jacques the owner who promised to refund me but to date a year later still waiting. I even offered to accept half of money paid but no response. Sad when you trust someone. 

No refund as promised by Owner

We attended a wedding, the owner had no people’s skills! The room I paid for and what I knew I was suppose to get was not what I got. My room looked like a cheap room, with no mirror and good walk from where the event took place. Had there been any changes I would have accepted, had this horrible owner just say something! 
When I arrived for breakfast, there was only wet scrambled eggs, with beans. No cutlery! 
Overall! I would not recommend. 

Horrible Owners! And terrible value for money! What I paid for and what I got, was highly disappointed.

Amazing view and accommodation. Sound of the river makes for a peaceful sleep. The additional request for champaigne and rose petals worked out exactly how I intended.Staff were an absolute pleasure. All amenities you need.

Awesome Visit

They advertise that all their deluxe suites have air conditioning, mine didn't have & the 2 fans that were offered didn't work. The bathroom flooded every time I showered. 
The owner advised me to take up my complaints with the bride & groom as they were the ones that booked the venue. Other people also complained about their accommodation & had similar rude responses.

Terrible accommodation & rude response from owners, false advertising

Very friendly welcome by the owners, the room had everything you need & the complimentary drinks in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice & the property was in a nice quiet area. Would have loved to stay longer.

Quiet and relaxing place to stay

Lovely place, friendly staff and owner very helpful, the stay was very relaxing and clean. 
Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one. Would highly recommend to any one that needs a well deserved break a way and for any function. 

Ecxellent

Twenty Three on Riverside is just what the busy city dweller needs to relax and unwind, the gardens are well kept and the rolling river running pass is lovely and sounds almost like the sea. 

The rooms are spacious and clean and the views are picture perfect.

The hostess Beaunette is very considerate of all visitors and goes out of her way to make your stay great. 

You will leave feeling refreshed.

Beaunette made sure I get to the place safely, checking up on me all the time. 
The place is breathtaking, warm, clean, private and serene. The  staff is friendly and helpful.
An excellent getaway from the city. I will definitely go back again. will also recommend it to family and friends.


an amazing get away

Location is very convenient, 1hours drive from Pretoria. Even the gravel road to the venue is very easy to manage.

Amazing views into the valley as you get off the main road.

Very tranquil, the sound of the river relaxes you in no time. Great friendly service. I went for 48 Hours and it felt like I was on vacation for two weeks. One word...Magic.

Rooms are nice and big, awesome Jacuzzi!!! Food was 6-STAR, Service was 6-STAR. Nothing you ask for is a problem and is arranged with no effort at all. 

Will defiantly go to 23 on Riverside again.
