Wonderfully place with nice garden and very nice hosts. Breakfast was good and facilities in the room also. We stayed for 2 days to visit hermanus.  We get good advices where to eat and go. Very helpfull staff              


We had booked for the Longest Table on the Pier at the New Harbour, we were lucky enough to find accommodation at House on Westcliff, it was so close to our venue, pleasant greeting, rooms well prepared, comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious, Off-street parking was a bonus and we would recommend House on Westcliffe to anyone travelling to Hermanus.

Great stay..

Lovely accommodation with very friendly host and close to Hermanus Whale Watching Tour guides. Safe parking possible. Breakfast was prepared with passion. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and all clean.

Visit of Hermanus area

This is a very nice guesthouse with René being an attentive manager giving many useful tips for visiting. Rooms are well maintained, breakfast is comprehensive and individually prepared according to your wishes. Very near to Cliff Path. Nice seafood restaurants nearby in the New Harbor in walking distance. 
The rooms with twin beds are on the backside of the house with no sun in the morning and no view.

Very nice guesthouse with a private atmosphere

I own a B&B in Melbourne, Australia so I enjoyed comparing notes with how you have set up your lovely rooms and dining room.   Thank you for the little touches and I loved it.  A great price.
The location of the kettle to plug in was a bit unusual.   A bit more milk with the room would appreciated.  

A B&B definitely worth visiting

Liked  · Breakfasts were excellent, and Rene was both charming and helpful. The property is conveniently located for both the New Harbour (excellent fish restaurant there) and the shoreline nature reserve walkways into the centre of Hermanus.

Disliked  · The room was tired and in need of refurbishment/upgrading.

An enjoyable few days

The room was small buit the location was great because not far from the center by car.The swimming pool was unfortunately unavailable. The first welcome was nice but the breakfast was disappointing and the woman serving us not very nice.

One stop at Hermanus

The geographical positioning is perfect, with an amazing sea view as you leave the gate. Comfortable accommodation, a pretty garden and pool. Rene was wonderful and went out of her way to host us at House on Westcliff.

Family stay at House on Westcliff - New Year period 2022.

Although we were disappointed that our room with private patio was not what was available through the website, No. 3 was reasonable.  On the website there were pictures of a room with large patio offering an alcove kitchen with microwave, two plate stove and large refrigerator.  We were not offered this accommdation.

Restful

excellent in all aspects. The owners made all possible for our particular requirements. Very quiet place and close to key places. The breakfast was superb, and the house very well designed. It can be highly recommended,
