Everything was super well thought through.  Room was very spacious abd "open air" shower a real pleasure.  Menus were exceptionally well planned and food delucious.  Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for any of the always happy and helpful staff.

Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is perched on the side of a beautiful hill, with exquisite views down to the valley. Elephant and Buffalo are often seen from the suites and dining lodge. The staff are truly wonderful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Our guide Celiwe was charming, amusing and so very knowledgeable. We felt lucky to have her as our ranger. 
We were fortunate enough to have a private pool attached to our lodge, which was a huge bonus affording us total privacy when wanted. 
We saw plenty of game and had the most spectacular time. We would go back in a heartbeat. 

Great Game Lodge

From the “simple” luxurious feel of the Lodge, to the amazing, friendly staff and management, to the well presented, most delicious food and attention to detail, Rhino Ridge is up there with the best of the best.  Every guest is made to feel special - even the one child that was there during our visit.  Our Ranger was professional and his  bird knowledge and bird calls exceptional.  On our departure we were given a snack-pack or “Padkos”  as they called it  - just endorsing the attention to detail!    We were sad to leave as we felt like family….but God willing we will be back. 🦏💚🦏

A piece of heaven in the midst of Hluhluwe / IMfolozi Park….

All the service and the accommodation were great! The meals were superb. We enjoyed the safaris and our guide was great. The staff responded very quickly to our needs! I definitely recommend this safari experience. 

Great stay

We went for two days and two nights. The food menu rotation was excellent, innovative, tasty and well served by an dedicated group of staff. The wine selection is good and well priced. Ranger Sifiso has a wonderful knowledge of the bush and is a mine of information about things big and small. Accommodation is excellent. Well worth visiting.

Excellent stay at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge

Wonderful lodge, with excellent guide who showed us everything one should know about the wildlife in South Africa. Very attentive Manager and very friendly staff. Dining is superb - nothing is missing - the internet could be better, but this is not supposed to be a working place but an venue for relaxation.

Top lodge in South Africa

Returned after 8 years, still an amazing experience. Can’t fault the staff, they can’t do enough for you. Great game drives, great food and the rooms are top notch. My wife loved the pool … the views from the deck are truly amazing. The drive in is challenging but well worth it!

Amazing Experience

It's a very nice lodge and very well situated. It's a very nice dining area with a great ambience. The pool is the hammer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The safaris were super designed, but you have to be aware that guides are not allowed to drive off the streets. Very friendly animal, but good views are a good thing.

Super lodge

Lodge is very nice - rooms, restaurant, service, staff. Twice per day (~6am, ~4pm) safaris into Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park. Our guide (Liberty) was fantastic. Saw impalas, giraffes, one elephant, rhinos, zebras, buffaloes. Was rainy during our visit, so didn’t do a “Walk” (small extra charge).
Drive up from Nyalazi Gate was difficult with small 2WD sedan. Get a 4wd or a robust (wide tires, vertical clearance) vehicle. Drive out through service gate (near lodge) was very easy, but you cannot enter from that gate.

Excellent location, staff and accommodations

The lodge manager was extremely helpful and helped us with a tire tire tire on the holiday. We can warmly recommend the lodge.
