The experience at this guest house was honestly shocking. The owners have serious anger issue and do not know how to treat their guests at all. We were insulted, threatened and assaulted. They proceed to lie about their guests who stay there on their reviews and I see we are unfortunately not the only ones who experienced this appalling behavior. I would not recommend this guest house to anyone and they do not follow Covid 19 guidelines and are very much in your face with no masks on. This place is not safe to stay at at all.

Aggressive and Hostility

An aggressive host would "welcome" you at this accomodation. He might seem friendly at the beginning, but watch him out. He is an unleased dog ready to bite anyone whose mindset is different to his. Good luck if you are planning to stay there. 


OBNOXIOUS HOST

We had a nice stay at the property.  The room go the afternoon sun so it was a little hot in the beginning, although there was a small fan which helped to cool it down later in the evening.

Parking could be difficult if you had a larger vehicle (or trailer)  and there are 2 on-street spaces in addition to inside parking, the owners were accommodating.

Make sure you meet check-in times as they are quite strict about your arrival time.

Comfortable Stay

We were greated with hostility and aggression and we felt very unwelcom. We we had bicycles and wanted to park inside and it was an issue for the owners, we furher asked for places to eat and was not answered properly. We decided not to stay the night an went on to stay at another place. Best decision not to stay thw night there.

Horrible

Check-in was confusing, due to booking.com apparently not accepting debit cards????? However, all was settled and the place was most enjoyable - comfortable bed, lovely communal eating area, sea view. Parking is very difficult, especially when travelling with a trailer. Andries, the host, was very accommodating, though. Bathroom not being en-suite was a bit of a disappointment.

Reasonable and comfortable stay

Thanks for a great overnight stay. Very private and quiet. Thank you for sending my shirts through that I forgot in the cupboard. Nice friendly people that were very welcoming. We were given great advice on where to go for dinner. Great views.

Great stay

The rules of the house are outright unwelcoming. The only communication before arrival was to say that reception closes at 19:00 after which no check-in is allowed. Once at the property, immediate payment is demanded, along with an unpleasant interrogation. The internet never worked. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell. Large signs with unfriendly absurd wording in the room (Because we are not a Hair dresser or Laundromat we do not provide hair dryers, iron or ironing board; If more than 120 litres of water per day is used the water switches off automatically; If anything [pillow, blanket, towel, etc.] is taken out of the room, the full replacement value will be charged). The next morning the owner insisted we get out of his room at 10:00 because other guests were apparently on their way, although the room was still showing as available to be booked online. The owner replies to other reviews with extreme rudeness and personal insults to guests while sitting in his underwear in front of his laptop all day.

Horrible male owner who won't hesitate to insult you

We had a lovely stay at the Sea Echo Accommodation over the Christmas holidays. They offered great service and were very accommodating and lovely people to deal with. We arrived a bit early and they were helpful and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and well-kept with a great view of the bay. There was both an indoor and outdoor sitting area and well-manicured grounds. We were very pleased with our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Stay

We were a bit apprehensive because of the rates we paid, not knowing what to expect. It was far beyond our expectations! We stayed in the garden cottage and had a beautiful view. Quiet area, lovely interior. Very tasteful and comfortable. The hosts were pleasant and welcoming.
