We love staying at Bay Cove Inn and we try and get back there every year! Feel's like home every time we visit. Clean, affordable, friendly, conveniently situated. We love every minute we spend there. See you again soon!

Nice place to stay in Jeffreys Bay.  The place looks like a wooden sailing ship, with sails & seagulls (real ones).  You get a very warm welcome from the landlady, a fridge & a place in the kitchen, they have the obligatory braai/barbequeue places for everybody, and a big shared one in the middle of the "deck".  The location is at the north east end of J-Bay, but it takes only 5 minutes to the main beach.  150m from the beach!

Chill place to stay!

I showed up during a busy holiday season without reservations and they took care of my every need, treating me like family and made me feel completely welcome for a very reasonable rate.  On the day I was scheduled to leave the surf came up and they bent over backwards to make sure I had a room for my extra night.

Close to the beach, very clean, fast internet, three braii pits  w/ ample access to kitchen and a very large and inviting common area allows for either privacy or a good chance to interact with other guests.

I travelled throughout SA for nearly a month and stayed at over 10 guest houses, this one was easily the best and the one I will certainly return to.

We were fortunate enough to stay at this excellent guesthouse for two nights.We loved the hospitality, friendliness and clean rooms. The facilities were more than what we expected! The host (Theunisia) went out of her way  to make us feel comfortable. She referred us to Ninas Restaurant... No words can describe the wonderful menu (We are Vegan/Vegetarian) and atmosphere there!!! 
The walks on the beach was so refreshing and relaxing and the picture opportunities endless. I saw the dolphins every day but one image touched me deeply. A dog that faithfully waits deep in the sea on the rocks for his owner that is enjoying the wonderful waves, surfing... I could not stop taking photos...

Comfortable rooms and very clean.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was only a quick stroll from the beach.

Everything you need

We spend one night there on a round trip. House is very well cared for.  All rooms have access to the big patio. Free coffee and tea in every room. Own fridge and stove for every room. Big barbeque place with lots of seating space in the patio. Seperate garden with pool for sunbathing. Room are small though. Breakfast is very good.
Hostel is located in a safe neighbourhood far away from township.

Walking distance from beach, good for surfer weekend with friends. Good price earnings ratio
