The excellent service started the minute we arrived with Danielle the manager greeting us and offering us refreshments on the beautiful terrace overlooking Thesen Island. The property is stunning and was built by The Thesen family, a full history can be obtained at the hotel. 
To say it was 5 star isn’t good enough it was 6 star. Stunning garden, breakfast on the terrace with care taken to ensure no flies went on the food. ( a pet hate and concern of mine) We were tired and decided to eat at the hotel and it was the right decision quality food cooked to perfection. Don’t hesitate to book.

Gold star accommodation in Knsyna

We stayed here for 3 weeks and we cannot find anything that was negative.  It was en exellent service, fantastic food, big and clean rooms.  A fantastic view from a great balcony. 
We are now looking forward to come back in December 2024. 

Paradise in Knysna, Garden Route, South Africa

Beautiful accommodation - very large and luxurious rooms. Excellent breakfast and welcoming hosts. The view from the balcony is superb and we enjoyed the garden and the pool. We had to cancel our last night’s accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances but they refunded us in full when the room was rebooked. Very slick service.

When in Knysna stay here!!!

Falcons View Manor is a very charming and romantic boutique hotel situated above Knysna with a marvelous view over the beautiful city, Thesen’s Island, and the lagoon. The ‘Waterfront’ is only an easy 20 minutes’ walk (approx. 1,5 km). Our room was very tastefully designed with a well-equipped coffee bar, large bathroom, and separate toilette. Breakfast leaves no wish unfulfilled, dinner very delicious, sundowner on the terrace just marvelous.  Above all very attentive and warm manager and her staff! We had four wonderful days at this Manor embedded in its very well kept beautiful tropical garden.

From the welcoming to saying goodbye everything was excellent! Very nice, helpful and friendly people! We had the most spectacular view over Knysna and the Bay and at the backside of the house a beautiful garden with swimming pool. We loved staying in this peaceful place.

Wonderful guesthouse

The owners and management have mastered the art of executing everything with great style.
It is an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation served up with excellent food and great wines.
I don't quite know why we don't just move in for a month!

Perfection in Knysna

We were so happy to find this hidden jewel. Superb in every way. Wonderful service from friendly staff , comfortable clean accommodation, super evening meals offering small portions for those who wish. Larger hotels could learn so much from this gem!

Superb!

We stayed with a group of 12 people in the main house and had an absolute wonderful time. The rooms are spotless and the hosts were very flexible and accommodating. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening and the breakfast was super. Will definitely come back.

Lovely stay

The very pleasant and perfectly trained staff make the stay a pleasure, as does the beautiful, well-maintained garden with pool and the wonderful view from the veranda. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant are also highly recommended

Absolutely DELIGHTFUL! In every sense of the word! Every attention to the minutest detail. Service excellence and love. Look no further for the most sophisticated, elegant, old world indulgence, wrapped up in understated brilliance. And then there's the food... OMG!! The food!!!
