This was literally the worst place I have ever let my head down in my life. From I arrived here with my family till I left was a nightmare. 

I arrived at 21:15 and when I got to reception they told me that I can’t have my room since the construction workers stared working there and they did not informed them. They said I must go to their others B&B down the road they can help me. 

I got there and it was so bad I could not keep my family there. The rooms was so dirty and bad and the door had no lock. Very dodgy. 

I went back to the first place and demanded them to sort it out. They said they can give me a room with one double bed, so we all had to sleep on one bed. 

It was very late and the children was tired, so I just took it. 

The linen was dirty, there was no hot water, there was not a glass or a spoon or plate in the kitchen. The door looked like it was kicked in and the ceiling was brown from all the water leaks. 

To top it all off we were there for 10 min and the power went off. Was not load shedding, because everyone around us had power. Just this place was off

Please do not come here, you will hate it. I don’t know where the pictures were taken but the room looks nothing like in the pictures. 

I left at 6 am in the morning cos we could not take it anymore

Absolutely the worst place I have ever slept in

First of all, there's no wifi when it was specified on the booking ticket. The reception is fine and we're even offered an old fan that blows to warm us up. It's clean and the bunk is comfortable and equipped with heating blankets. But you feel like everything is deteriorating like a shower palm that waters through.

Breakfast staff totally lacking in presentation skills

Huge dissapointment

I arrived just after the new owners took over...instead of closing for a revamp, they confirmed my booking and were quite happy to have me stay.
Quite disappointed they couldn't make a plan for breakfast...Wimpy doesn't disappoint though.
Marks on the walls where the previous owners had removed mirrors and artwork.
The bed seemed like it feel off of Noah's Ark...
Bathroom was dirty.
Glad it was only one night!

Never again

A friend and I were in South Africa last February. We started our trip in Durban and took the Garden Route. The drive to East London was too long, so we decided to stay over night in Kokstad. We found this nice little guesthouse with a wild garden, cats and dogs. We had a very peaceful overnight stay plus breakfast. The room was small, but very clean. The bathroom is very very small.
I liked the electric blanket on the mattress. 
Wendy and her husband Leon were very attentive. My friend had stomach problems, so Wendy fixed an apple with lemon, put the mus in a little box plus a little spoon, so my friend was helped.
I had a fine typical English breakfast with fresh fruits. The couple read the guests whim.
I recommend it with all my heart.
