We were in this lodge recently. The weather was miserable (cool in the one-digit area and rainy). The lodge was not prepared for it in that there was only a small, movable radiator in our suite that failed to bring our suite to normal temperature. Accordingly, we stayed almost exclusively in the lobby/restaurant/bar, which was heated by a fireplace. The food and service were excellent. This was a little comforting over the weather! The problem, however, was that due to a flight delay from Dentthansa we were only able to spend 3 of the 4 nights booked there.

Service, food is excellent, but...

The luxury par excellence. Esiweni enjoys an exceptional location within the reserve: hanging on the cliff with a 180° view over the bush without any noise or lighting nuisance (unlike other lodges in the reserve) which propels you into a quietness from the beginning. Our 5-night stay (très bon format) was accompanied by daily surprises with a sense of detail, staging, a French table service. We lived our out of Africa for a few years.

A perfect stay - remarkable guides - a very respectful approach to wildlife (we can see the animals up close, but very delicately and with very few cars close to the animals due to the management of the reserve; we are far from the aggressive and industrial approaches of many other reserves in Africa) - many pleasant little surprises during the stay - possible related activities (sports, recreation, historical or cultural) - a fine cuisine suitable for the type of stay - an unforgettable and very charming place - hosts who are particularly attentive to all our wishes - so extraordinary

Sophie and Ludovic are wonderful hoots full of little surprises and good attention during our stay our room was the lions tres beautiful room always refurbished pedating our safaris the golf course flight over the reserve with Vincent was magical the two safaris a day with our guide Pemba always devoted and smiling allowed us to see all the animals except the leopard (his will give us an excuse to come back) because it's on us to go back there Didier and Claude

We spent four days dreaming at the Esiweni Lodge. The lodge's location is surprising and unexpected. The safaris are led by a passionate and passionate Ranger. The service is personalized and impeccable. We took the bungalows overlooking the cliff and it's magic. The owners are French who have prepared beautiful surprises for us.

Unforgettable Travel and Safari

We are transported to another world in Esiweni, the beautiful location from which we can observe the elephants from our room. The staff is very attentive, delicious and varied food. The ranger gives all the explanations we want about the animals we encounter. Several surprises with unexpected encounters. It's magical!

We spent an incredible stay. Located on a cliff overlooking the river and the waterfalls we discovered a breathtaking panorama. The lodge is as luxurious as it is intimate. The suites are very spacious and decorated with care and refinement. The attention to detail is remarkable. The chef offers you a refined cuisine, she combines the art of French cuisine with the South African tradition, she adds creativity. The staff is smiling and attentive to the smallest detail, an impeccable service. The Big Five class is a rich reserve of exceptional moment. The diversity of species and experience reserve a unique game drive.

It's exceptional!

Esiweni Lodge is a pearl in the middle of the savannah, an elegant, warm place with impeccable and smiling service. The nature view is probably one of the most beautiful possible, the safaris are very well organized with the possibility of seeing the big five! It is a haven of peace and tranquility for those who want to rest and enjoy nature. The chef was trained in the best restaurants in France, with excellent and original food quality.
