A very well run lodge. A huge thanks to Candice and Grant Smith for being so welcoming and sharing their knowledge of the area. We were very fortunate to have the large house, just for the two of us and we had loads of room to set up our computers for transferring data etc. 

There is an in house restaurant called EAT (on the property) and that was so easy to  pop into for some yummy food after a days diving, if one did not feel like cooking in the well equip accommodation.

There is a designated area for washing and drying ones dive gear too and Secure parking for your vehicle.
 



A well run Lodge

I came on a dive trip to Sodwana with Sodwana Dive Center and asked for good accommodation with A/C and a pool. We were met with the keen eye of Matt referred by Bronwyn. To our surprise we were afforded two outstanding en-suite rooms with super clean linen, spacious rooms and outstanding service. I highly highly reccomend this venue to anyone visiting Sodwana.

Outstanding experience at Occi Lodge

Occi lodge is a self catering venue with beautifully set up rooms, ablutions and the most amazingly complete kitchen I have seen anywhere, they would make most home owners envious. Wendy and her grandson  run the venue and literally nothing is too much trouble, although I had virtually zero issues I just know they would not he issues with their care and attention  to detail. There is no other venue I would even consider in sodwana bay after these 4 day 6 stars for sure.

Best outfitted furnished accommodation anywhere

What inspires you to go back to Occi Lodge is your host, Wendy, she really goes out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, nothing is too much trouble. The en-suite rooms are a delight, all cleaned on a daily basis. Simply Fantastic.

First Class Establishment

This is quite possibly one of the best self catering venues I've stayed at. Lovely setting, the communal area had everything you needed - the best kitchen with every utensil possible, braaii area and nice seating areas.

Swimming pool small but nice 

Rooms really comfy and good size, aircon and powerful showers.

Good sized TV room

Nice little shop/cafe next door and bar across the road plus added benefit of being by shark museum.

45 min walk or 10 min drive to Bay

Wendy couldn't have been more friendly or helpful going above and beyond - I loved that she is always thinking about her guests which included new purchases of whistle kettles so even during load shedding guests could have a hot drink

Totally recommended

Only thing missing was maybe an honesty bar! 

Fantastic 

What a lovely place to stay for small or larger groups, with separate kitchen, braais and relaxing areas dotted around the property.  Beds are comfortable, units are clean (with air con) and the kitchens very well equipped.  Units are serviced daily, there’s a WiFi service, coffee shop and Sharklife shop.  Wendy was very welcoming and did all she could to make our stay comfortable. It’s right on the main road and not a long drive to the beach.

A gem at the coast

It's a pleasure to stay here. The lodge it's really beautiful, and the staff very kind and helpful. They will do there best to make you feel good. You have accommodation for all budgets, also if you travel like a backpacker. There are two friendly cats and a kitchen with everything you can need. And it's better than home, because afterwards you don't need to wash de dishes!!! You also have free parking. It couldn't be better. I recommend this place to everybody!! 

A wonderful place

Love the way the place is set out. Designed open plan surrounding a splash pool and Braa/eatingi area.  Kitchen positioned so that you bound to meet your fellow guests. We have stayed at Occi several times and it just keeps getting better.  Rooms are serviced. There is air conditioning which is a bonus.  On the Main Road and near the Reserve Entrance. Lovely little cafe on the property. Rooms are clean and the bed so comfy.  A little oasis.
