We had a weekend stop over between stays at the Kruger National Park.  Leonie and the staff at Cycas made our stay very welcoming. The facilities are excellent and very clean.  Our room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.

Carla is a very kind hostess.  we booked late in the evening for the same evening and was helpful and friendly.  the room with private bathroom was clean and equipped.  English breakfast good and plentiful.  very well kept garden with swimming pool.  comfortable position for the kruger.  all perfect!

Beautiful place

We were looking for an overnight stop outside Kruger's Malalane or Crocodile Bridge gate and we found Cycas Guest House on booking.com. 

We were very happy with Cycas, the location was good in a quiet residential area conveniently located a short drive from Malelane
 restaurants and shops.

We were welcomed by the owners and  each of the rooms were in an suite chalets around the courtyard and small pool. We enjoyed a comfortable night and a good breakfast in the morning.

Overall Cycas was very good and value for money. 

Friendly, comfortable and clean

This was a basic guesthouse that served our purpose for one night.
The room was spacious enough for 2 people, clean and had a comfortable bed. The room was very sparsely furnished; There was only one night table making it difficult for one person to keep even a glass of water near the bed. A small fridge was available under a very narrow table that hardly served space to make a cup of tea. Everything was very compact.
The manageress was very nice and helpful. She showed us a community kitchen where one could prepare food. So, that would have been useful if we were to stay longer. 
There was access to a pool in the back as well, but the pool did not seem that clear. 
There was secure parking inside the court, which had a gate with a coded lock. The general area seemed to be safe.
Free Wi-Fi was also available. The small TV installed high facing the bed had international channels like CNN.
Breakfast was not included in the price, but could be had for 80 Rands for person. It was the general breakfast stuff, nothing earth shaking. I only wished they could have maintained the only healthy item in that breakfast, fruits, healthy by not adding sweet unsavory-looking yellow custards into the fruit dish.
All in all, for the price, the place was OK for a night or two.

Served our purpose!

We had a pleasant stay at Cycas. It's a relaxing place with a nice pool and bbq area. The Wifi worked really good and the staff was helpful and friendly. Would love to stay there again :D sunny greetings from Austria

Relaxing time at Cycas Guesthouse

very friendly couple - replied immediately  with a welcome note and direction on how to reach the house - breakfast was nice and bed was very comfortable shower was nice and warm 
shame about the power cut the next day but not their fault

a good place to stay on way to Kruger

I found Cycas Guest House clean and comfortable.  Full DSTV and Wi-Fi an added bonus. Luckily took my own pillow as I prefer something flat compared to a mountain under my head. Tea and coffee making facilities in each room and a fully equipped kitchen & braai area at the pool for guests.  
My only negative is the cramped parking space available.  Jigsaw puzzle at it's best when this guest house if fully booked.
