Stayed there for a whole month. This place's landscaping and immense garden can serve as an exceptional rustic, natural, and boho wedding venue. But mostly, the conference rooms are more than suitable for business trips if you are planning to host conferences, summits, or training.

Both the owner and her staff are friendly, respectful, and professional. Our group was offered 24/7 assistance by Wian, a young and dynamic staff at the Kyalami Lodge. He has been arranging for our accommodations, organising our shuttles, and has been closely monitoring who had access to the venue so we were all safe. Wian also holds outstanding IT Support skills, ensuring no mishaps during training.

The Kyalami Lodge is an outstanding place that encompasses the assets a business trip would require. It offers a relaxing environment while providing nice local food, a pool to take a swim, snooker tables, and a BOMA for a traditional braii and a chilled space to relax.

Excellent Accommodation

Staying for a month as a stranger was challenging but in that peaceful, and calm place made my experience enjoyable. People there are very helpful, always available for any supports. Thank you for your warm welcoming.

Leadership training program-Education changemakers

Been there in 2020 & 2022. I have to say that I loved it there! Great staffs, good vibes, and great place! Shout out to Adri & Wian.

Residential Training

I spent a week in Crowthorne lodge. The service is friendly and excellent. My room was very well appointed with air-conditioning, coffee facility and a handy bar fridge. I found hand santizers and disinfectants not only in my room but in all public spaces throughout the lodge. I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds. The lodge and its gardens made me completely forget that I was in Johannesburg. As a businessman I needed a good wifi connection and the lodge didn't disappoint. A big shout out to the friendly staff and owners who made me feel at home and comfortable. A huge thank you to Jesse at reception who saw to my every need in a friendly and professional manner. I will be back.

Covid free facility

I don't even know where to begin.
The owners of the lodge together with their children treated us like family. Adri, Derrick and Jesse thank you very much for the wonderful service and I hope to see you once more once everything is settled. I loved your spirits. Well as for your staff some training needs to be done. There are times were I would be sick and I'd be sent back to the lodge and what I would see happen was disappointing. Cleaning only on the surface is not cleaning at all. Of course I'm not saying they should do an everyday spring cleaning. Also fidgeting with personal things in the bathroom is a no.

Very pleasant and comfortable accommodation, very hospitable hosts, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very much a home from home feeling, always nice to be in a country setting, especially in Johannesburg. 

Crowthorne

This was my second stay at the lodge. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the proprietors go out of their way to make the stay pleasant and comfortable.

The bar area is cozy, with a great selection of local wines and craft beers.

Having stayed at many hotels in JHB for work where 'personal service' is as about as impersonal as a visit to the post office, Crowthorne Lodge truly is like coming home!  This is certainly not an off-the-cuff compliment but an honest appreciation of the collective & long term assessments I am now able to give after many stays at this wonderful establishment. The setting is surprisingly rural, the feel relaxed, the service professional and the rooms top notch quality. That hospitality cliche "Arrive as guests and depart as friends" is indeed no cliche at Crowthorne Lodge!  

HOME FROM HOME

An exquisite lodge in a quiet and peaceful area. Good accommodation for either a large or small group. A conference room was readily available for seminars or discussions and internet was reliable. Rooms are spacious, excellently maintained and kept clean. A couple of things stood out for me: The management is really friendly and welcoming. Adri and team are ever eager to make you smile and always ready to go an extra mile for guests' extra comfort. The staff is amazing and very humble, more like a family. The menu is delicious, with a variety of food - there are definitely no worries for long stays. I'm even becoming a regular at Crowthorne. Thank you for being so lovely!
