De Bos Guest Farm

I went to De Bos for the Eroica bike ride, so my views are coloured by that experience, but overall the place was just spot on. I needed a cheap bunk bed with showers and wifi, and De Bos delivered!

A great and cheap stay

Great place to stay, and they allow dogs! We stayed in one of the Kloof view rooms. It was spacious and over the time we were there it was fairly quiet, which made it quite peaceful. Prompt responses on the emails as well! 

De Bos room stay

Clean bathrooms, tricky to get the perfect warm shower but not that bad.
Stunning views all around, we chose a spot closer to the kids play area and pool, which then also runs next to the river (note that on the otherside is the main road).
Camp sites all had good shade. Braai's and bins were cleaned everyday.
WIFI signal was strong. Ice&wood available for purchase, fridge/freezer has enough space in the kitchen to keep your things cold. 

Lovely spot, can recommend as a great camping spot.



Lovely campsite

Was a peaceful and refreshing break our family needed. Nice safe environment and beautiful view. Lovely town and Shops and restaurants were great. Loved that the place was not crowded as well. Will definitely be visiting again.

Family Break away

I had a wonderful stay at De Bos,  and what made it for me was the 20m pool. I could swim lengths and train in it, it's really special.  The room was spacious, clean, neat, with nice linen and I slept very well.

Beautiful Montagu

A group of us went climbing in Montague recently and stayed at De Bos. Some camped, we stayed in a room with a bathroom, near to the communal kitchen. Friends of ours stayed in a fully equipped cottage. It was a great stay and we would definitely go back. The communal kitchen is well equipped (just remember your own matches for the gas stove) and there was also a great communal braai facility, and the en-suite room was perfect with a very comfortable bed and bedding.

Friendly and great facilities

Personal touch by the owners; the easy come and go and the freedom of the dogs that pretend they are yours was exactly what I needed while working. Thank you very much! I am definitely bringing my WHOLE family.

Great central location, but the Vygie cottage we stayed in was dark and cold, and I'll suited to cold winter weather. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was friendly, but the kitchen amenities could have been cleaner. 

Rustic

Campsite VERY basic but we were self-sufficient so it was fine.  Ablutions were basic, however not clean. Over our three day long weekend they were never cleaned. Basic is acceptable, filthy not acceptable.
