Such a lovely property. The room was exceptional large, modern with a fantastic large balcony looking straight out onto the bay. Staff really friendly with a great choice at breakfast.  We wish we had stayed longer and would definitely return.

Outstanding property overlooking the bay

Splendid Hotel with a view second to none.We were welcomed with coffee and a bottle of water. We enjoyed watching the sky divers passing. The room was equipped with a working kitchen area. We walked on the beach and layed on the sunbeds. A comfortable plunge pool on the sundeck. The room had a roll top bath and a shower. The hotel recommended a fist restyurant and booked us in.

Second to none

Really disappointing stay - we were looking forward to it after reading the fantastic reviews! Sadly did not live up to expectations. There was noisy constriction next door all day, we weren't shown that there was a second hot tub that was away from the beach and less windy. Reception closed in the evening - not shown how to get out to beach and nobody to ask.when we returned from dinner there were no parking spots inside and had not been told where else was safe to leave car even though they would have known number of vehicles. Bottled water not included in rooms. Came to breakfast just after 9am (runs 7.30-9.30) and most of the food including fruit/yoghurt/museli was all finished and not topped up. Disappointing stay all round. Overpriced ++.

Disappointing stay - would not recommend

We had a lovely overnight stay in African Oceans.  Perfectly located on the beach just on the edge of town. Manager was outstanding and so attentive to our needs. Beautiful room and views. We used the delivery service from the local Italian restaurant which was very good. Wonderful breakfast, loved the home made granola and good choice of cooked options. Only problem was we didn’t stay long enough! 

Amazing guest house, 5 star experience! 

Stunning location and well fitted guest house. The staff were very welcoming to us and our 18 month boy, who was given plenty of attention. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of hot options. Would recommend planning dinner and lunch options around the local area. 

Accommodation catered for every need and was very spacious, private and clean!

Highly recommend for its location, direct access to the beach, safe and great service! 

Stunning location and great service!

A car is required to reach the location is it is not in the center of mossel bay. Located in a rather well off residential zone. Peaceful and quiet environment.

The view and location on the beach is splendid.i stayed in suite 6 with no sea view, which is alright for me. Lovely outdoor experience. 

Downsides:
-tv not working
-lights at balcony not working
-shower area: no handheld shower, only wall mounted overhead shower
-recep is not 24 hours. More like a B&B than hotel

I guess this was a luxury accommodation many years ago. A little bit dated and old in the current context. But again, there are not much luxury options in mossel bay. 
This property is also affect by loadshedding.
Between 10pm to 1220am, only lights can be turned on. Other electrical appliances cannot be used. 

Overall, quite a comfortable stay for just one night.

Decent room, fantastic beach

Suite 6 is not ocean view. It is an extention over the front garage accessed by an open wooden unlit staircase to piece of decking they called a terrace. Room was good but no views. Breaffast good, staff excellent.

Superior suite 6

Stayed for one night,  very clean and comfy. We had a ground floor suite with a larger upper bedroom.  Lots of outside places to sit, but was slightly disconcerted to find another family sitting outside our window first thing.  They had a different entrance to apparently a communal patio, which we were not informed about,  made me feel a bit awkward.  Brekky was very good.

Nice B and B ,

Situated on the beach with a deck overlooking the sea and easy access to the beach. Excellent service and friendly staff. Breakfast is provided and shops are easily accessed a walk away from the beach. Stupendous views from the rooms. 5 star comfort!

Fabulous setting!

I liked everything about the room, I booked presidential suite, the sea view, view and the lovely jacuzzi. The room was big and very nice bathroom 

Breakfast was delicious with variety. The location is good and close to the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend this property
