Lovely cottages, safe, beautiful surroundings with some farm animals. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again. The service was excellent and Lisbeth a friendly and interesting hostess. The outdoors, braai areas are all private and well located.

Countryside and calm

Had the most amazing time at mooibly. Erik and Liesbeth are the most amazing people and so friendly and helpful at all times. They really made the weekend unforgettable. Mooibly has the most amazing views and great cottages. I cannot wait to go back! 

A hidden gem in Paarl 

We stayed there for 3 nights and would have stayed longer if it was possible. The owner was very kind and helpful. the Cottage was clean and the wine was good.The horses on the farm are tame and enjoys the extra attention.  we enjoyed our visit thoroughly.

Beautiful Wine farm

We were unfortunate to only stay 1 night at the beautiful Mooi Bly Cottages in Paarl! What a lovely piece of heaven. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The gardens incredible and a lovely warm pool. Everyone was very warm and welcoming! We hope to visit again and stay longer! 

Absolutely Beautiful! 

We had a wonderful stay here at a cottage for 5 nights. We were in Paarl for a family wedding so it was an ideal place for a few families to get together.  It's a very scenic setting and the accommodation is very comfortable.   They have a swimming pool and some of the children arranged horse riding.  It's a cottage with an African feel.  The cottages are serviced every day except Sunday, which was a nice surprise.  Erik and Liesbeth are great hosts, which is very impressive as they are also busy running the farm too.  One thing you must do here is to try their wines which are very reasonably priced.  We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay at a Mooi Bly Wine farm cottage just outside Paarl

We stayed at Mooibly for 4 nights in one of the cottages with our family in October 2016 - we were 5 adults and a 5-year old boy. The idea of staying at a wine farm was very exciting for us and we were really looking forward to that. The cottage itself and the kitchen were basically nice and neat but worn and only average-equipped (kitchen). One particular thing we realized was that there were no proper wine glasses. A wine tasting was not offered either during our stay. The general feeling was, that the cottage has not been rented for a couple of weeks or even months, as the dishes and glasses were dusty and greasy and the smell in the cottage was humid and moldy. The owners were on holidays and not present. They organized a replacement - an old friend couple. The communication and availability was cumbersome. It was a bit of a hassle to gain all information we needed. In addition, the main gate was broken and for safety and security reasons dogs were running around the farm and were present especially at and in the main house of the farm. We love animals and esp. dogs, however, the dogs on the farm were very unpleasant, as they were many and huge (appr. 80 cm wrist height), very barky and constantly present on the farm. When we did a braai they were around, ready to catch the meat. We even found their excrement in front of our terrace, which was very unpleasant and was not removed during our stay. 
However, the farm had a pool, which we really enjoyed.

Very disappointing stay on the wine farm

I love this place and the family who runs it. Quaint cottages that sleep up to 6 to 8 people on an extraordinary farm at the base of the Paarl mountains. Well kept grounds and wonderful breakfasts. you can taste and buy their excellent wines onsite.

Stay on a working wine farm

Lovely experience - really an Oasis of peace with fabulous  wines  available, lovely horses , friendly  dogs -  did I mentioned the fabulous  wines, sweet cat - and Liesbet and Eric who made the visit memorable !
