We stayed for 8 nights in April. Everything was perfect. It's beautiful, spacious and modern. It has all amenities you can think of for a perfect vacation. All things were just top of the line in quality. Location very good. 4 minutes drive to the nearest beach, 5 minutes to Robberg nature reserve. One of the best places we ever stayed in. Highly recommended.

Amazing Place - Perfect Vacation

We spend one night at the Whale Rock Guest House and were really happy about the room and the house. The room was luxury and all was perfectly done and lovely arranged. 
We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with coffee, juice, yoghurt, bread, eggs and bacon.

Great room and nice host

The Hostess Lulayne is very kind and helpful. 
The rooms look so fancy!!! Reeeally beautiful place!
It has a beautiful landscape.
Delicious breackfast.
It has garage.
The location and the city are really charming!

Awesome!

We've booked both rooms, and we've just extended them. Everything is very individual and tastefully furnished. You can only feel comfortable there. The delicious breakfast on the terrace gives you a beautiful view of the bay. It's a little outdoors, but quiet and safe. Good restaurants and the beach are within five minutes by car. We'd be back. Luxury with dream vision

absolutely brilliant. will definitely stay there again. everything we look for in a self cater place. from the booking wright through to the departure it was a absolute pleasure. the place is perfectly situated, close to the see, shops and all sorts of entertainment in the vicinity.

We spent two nights here. The accommodation is very comfortable, the suite is really huge and great with a bathtub in the room, a large double shower and separate toilet. Everything is decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The location is OK, a little outside, but in a good area and with great views. The breakfast was good, but it should have been a little richer. Fruit salad, yogurt and fresh O-Just were great. But there was relatively little bread and only a little honey and jam. There was also a warm breakfast. Delicious. But the portion size wasn't everything for the big hungry. The host was very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and could recommend the guesthouse.

It's a lovely honeymoon suite.

We had a lovey 3 night stay at the beginning of March, fantastic room, we had the honeymoon suite, short walk to the beach, short taxi ride or drive to the town, we would definitely stay again if we return to Plettenberg bay, Lelanie was a lovely host, friendly and helpful, recommended restaurants for the evening and booked them for us,  breakfast was  amazing on the outside terrace.

Beautiful guest house

We have just enjoyed our two night stay in this guest house which was fabulous.  The room was modern classy and the attention to details was beautiful.  Breakfast was delightful and there was nothing too much trouble .  It's about a five /ten min drive to the centre and beach . Highly recommend . Thank you for a wonderful stay .  Preston uk 

Beautiful guest house 

We had the honeymoon suite for fun and it was as stunning as it looked but I wouldn't have my honeymoon there - the walls are very thin so we were very aware of ourselves and our tones of voice. The owners were so very kind and helpful and accommodating though so I would still recommend. Lovely views and lovely decor and great location with food recommendations 

Very kind, helpful, stunning decor but very thin walls

We stayed at Whale Rock in July 2016 and we were very impressed with every aspect.

It is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with secure parking and all round good security.

Our room was clean and spacious with an amazing view of the ocean. The bathroom was tastefully decorated, it came with 2 basins, 2 showers, a bath and a separately enclosed toilet. 

We asked about a recommendation and our hostess told us about The Fat Fish, which proved to be very good as well. 

The following morning, breakfast was superb and served on the outdoor balcony overlooking the ocean. 

Overall, everyone was very friendly and we would definitely recommend this guest house as a stop for anybody on the Garden Route.
