Ideal stopover point - rural setting on working farm. Plenty bird life otherwise quiet.
The hostess was friendly and made frequent inquiries to ensure we were happy.
She kindly accommodated our request for an early breakfast. 

Tamboti Ridge B &B

The accommodation was tidy and clean. The host was friendly and accommodated my late arrival. They were also willing to arrange last-minute breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.

Quick stayover

Very peaceful venue to break our journey - clean venue very well situated, beautiful garden, lovely hostess and a nice breakfast. Will stay there again. Spent a pleasant afternoon exploring the Pongola Game Reserve.

Lovely Stay

We had an enjoyable stay at Tamboti, our host was very friendly, welcoming, and responded to our emails promptly. Tamboti is part of an old farmhouse set in a beautifully kept garden with lots of bird life present.
While Tamboti don’t caterer for dinners our host arranged access to Shayamoya Lodge close by for a sundowner and Al Carte menu.  We felt safe with a security guard present from sunset to look after our vehicle and rooms.
Tamboti is an Ideal overnight stop before crossing into Swaziland. 
The breakfast, including the fruit was filling. 
The water pressure was very strong making for a great shower and plenty of hot water after a long day’s travel. Our only suggestion would be to try and reduce this pressure as it created the toilet and taps to drip the whole night. 
We were disappointed with the WIFI reception which was very poor.  We had important downloads to do but couldn't connect, the Web site advertised that WIFI was provided, but this does not mean you will be able to access it...maybe the owners should look at installing WiFi boosters to the rooms. 
Overall, the venue set not far from the main road and Swazi Boarder makes for an easy stop over if you are going that way or on to another destination. 


Tamboti Ridge

Tamboti Ridge is situated on a quiet and peaceful farm near Pongola. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. Ziphelele was an amazing host - very welcoming and willing to go the extra mile. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful stay

From the moment we drove in the hostess and owner Ziggy was friendly and helpful.
Our rooms for our overnight stay served us well (we had dinner up the road however there are braai facilities)
There were basic tea and coffee facilities in each room plus a small fridge. We were comfortable for our short stay.

We had left something behind and on our return home a week later, we stopped past and she helped us with a quick refresh on our onward journey. We refilled our tea and coffee and ate our own packed lunch before being waved off with Ziggy's amazing smile.

Beautiful gardens. Scrumptious breakfast. Full cold buffet as well as hot farmers breakfast. Close to N2   Good overnight for travelling between durban and the kruger park. Very comfortable bed for a good nights rest 

Relaxing comfortable convenient

the place was clean but towels were not changed. There used to be a generator in case of power outages but that is not in operative now. I shudder to think what would be the case when the outage happens in summer

Our hostess welcomed us very warmly upon our arrival.
The place is quiet and peaceful, just what we needed.
The room was very spacious and clean, we spent our afternoon on the patio watching the sunset and just enjoying the tranquility.
The price was very reasonable and the breakfast, which was included was more than I expected and very delicious.
I look forwarding to seeing all Ziggy's big ideas for the place come to fruition and will definitely be visiting again, hopefully soon.

Peaceful

Comfortable stay, but understand there is no bar or food available on site, so if you arrive a bit late and unprepared you may have nothing to drink and you need to travel about two kilometers to eat at shayamoya lodge ... Having said that, the garden is lovely, you can braai, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is so worthwhile !!
