We had issues with the noise from other guests, it was noisy until late at night.

The shower and the basin are so close together. It is a bit of a struggle to open the shower do without worrying about, will I break it because ut will bump into the basin. Maybe a shower cap will do as well.

Host Karen is wonderful! The apartment is extremely clean and well kept, as is the property in its entirety! Where necessary our needs were attended to super promptly. We felt safe staying there. Will return in Summer to make use of the pool and BBQ area!

PerfectStay

Joy was friendly and welcomed us, taking the time to show us the facilities. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were able to rest well. It was a bit tricky getting into the shower, as the bathroom is small but sufficient.  The guesthouse is conveniently located close to the airport and amenities. 

Value for Money

I really enjoyed my stay. There is a big pool on the premises and have a tranquil atmosphere. I liked the fact that there were solar power and loadshedding had no effect on my work that I had to do online. 

Amazing location and friendly staff

We booked 5 Third Avenue Guesthouse because of an early departure from Port Elizabeth Airport and found it excellent. The host Karen is amazing! She was very welcoming and assisted us with our every need and made valuable recommendations. I can't recommend this place enough for your overnight stays in PE. We had an excellent night's sleep and found the rooms clean and fitted out with all the necessary. The host even provided laundry service and stored one piece of luggage for our return, which is something you wouldn't necessarily expect from a 'Guest House'. Thank you Karen!

Excellent stay and above and beyond service!

We had a great stay, only thing is that it smelled a bit damp in the bedrooms. Great location, very clean, good view. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. 
Will recommend this apartment for a relaxing break in P E.  

Nice stay

The place is amazing, the entertainment area is just great, ain’t no way you’re leaving without chilling there. The pool has this amazing brick and mortar table for in-pool drinks!! I truly enjoyed my stay. Karen is an amazing host.

Perfect Rest!

I'm so glad I chose this place, cause the staff are very helpful and they accommodate you with what you need. Don't be scared to ask them for help. They will go out of their way to assist you with whatever you need

I was staying here during IRONMAN70.3 Worlds. Staff very kind and helpful. They organized everything I asked for. Compering with other guesthouse on the beach it has very customer friendly price. Very close to the airport but 4 km to the beach is easy by walking or with bicycle. Cute doggie! Highly recommended! 👍👍

5 days during

I cannot recommend this guest house enough. Rozelle the owner is lovely, friendly but not overly intrusive and gave us the privacy we wanted. We were welcomed, given gate codes, wifi key and showed the facilities and then went to our room.
The room was lovely, really clean and even had chocolates on the neatly folded pillows. It had a kitchen with fridge all cutlery you can think of and two hobs to cook on as well as microwave and kettle. The tv was basic but a decent size. Bathroom clean. It was spacious and had extra blankets (not that we needed them in summer!), coat handers etc plus had air con (a light fan which was ok). The pool was a decent size and deeper at one end where you can't touch the floor. It was warmed by the sun and cleaned.
On site parking which is secured. Laundry service is available at additional charge. 
We stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved it. Cannot praise the accommodation higher. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Should we visit SA again you will be our first point of call.
