Wednesdays there is a darts competition at Bulldogs. Me and my son stayed at Venture Inn for an evening. Neat hotel/inn that has seen better days, but great value for money and friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable with necessary amenities and they have adequate parking. For a quick stopover I would recommend.

Fun, value

Reserved the Venture Inn using one of their 'last minute' deals.  Reserved for 2 nights purely as somewhere to sleep.  3 rooms booked.  All were clean and neat, beds comfortable and linen clean.  As a budget 2 star Inn, it was well worth the stay.

An oldie but a goldie

The hotel is on a hill overlooking palm trees and the sea. Beautiful view from the dining room. Seems popular place for guests.
Pros: - very friendly and helpful staff. 
- place is well-kept up and clean. Seems like place is from the 1940s with the fixtures of that era.
- budget: price for room and eating in restaurant are very affordable. 
- breakfast is nice and quite cheap compared to many places that I have been
- my room had 2 doubles and single. Good for families.
Cons: a bit of a distance from the beach. Can walk but if carrying towels, chairs, children, I would recommend driving. There is parking beside the beach along with tables, kiosks, and small playground
Reception, even when bell rung, takes some time to respond.
 Although not beside the beach, I would recommend it if you had a family and were on a budget. A nice vibe to the place that makes you want to stay for a bit.


Older budget hotel

We stayed here overnight whilst on a road trip.  The cost of a room is very economical and the very helpful receptionist accommodated us in a good size room with comfortable bed.  It is dated, but clean and comfortable and we had a good night's rest.  The breakfast was a bargain price and very satisfying with a lovely view over the sea from the veranda.  There are a couple of restaurants and shops nearby so a convenient stopover.

Good value for money

What a clown show! Expect exactly what you see. Dirty and run down with incompetent management. Mould in the Microwave and Kettle. Drunk guests blocking the access gate. Cold water over Christmas. Leaking toilet and taps. Billing information and dates not documented correctly. The list goes on.....

Upon arrival, we were frustrated to find reception closed by 8pm. We then had to enter a smoke filled, drunken den. A kind local then took it upon himself to attempt to show us to our room, to quote in his own words "I have no idea what I am doing". Once we finally reached our room, we were both shocked and disgusted to see the content. For starters, the TV was like something out of the 1970s, the towels were filthy, the bed was worse than a prison cell, the fan was rusty, the wiring was hanging out all over the place and the place was generally unclean. After listening to drunken 'yobs' next door until 1am we finally managed to sleep. Unfortunately the next morning showed little improvement - with quite possibly the worst breakfast ever!! Indeed, the only plus for this place was our departure. Put simply, do not stay here!!!!
