My name is Cate and Redsquare was the best Iv ever been,,visited for 4nights and the rooms were very beautiful,had a stay at the honey moon room and the view,set up were just the best,if you looking for a honey moon suite or valentine I'd highly recommend also for work because their rooms have working desk and kitchen,,host was amazing her name Aggie,,service perfect,,planning to go back again very soon,,the garden the best with a pool and very quiet from city noise not forgetting the cleanliness, everything was sparking clean,very happy client from Kenya Nairobi.

Best accommodation ever

we staid over for one night. the personal is very friendly. we had a wonderful breakfast. the room is warm and cosy. outside in the garden is beautiful. you may sit outside at the pool and have something to eat

Very friendly and polite service and in a very convenient part of Pretoria for my business dealings. Rooms were well appointed and very clean, with a nice kitchenette. The only downside was that there was no aircon....only a fan so I didn't sleep too well as a result. Pity as it would have been perfect otherwise.

Short Business Visit to Pretoria

I've stayed at the property for more than three times & it's been amazing but my last visit was not good at all. Please can the management address this because I still love the place.

I checked in at 18:30 pm and my room was not read. The person responsible for cleaning or welcoming guests was not around. when I called her she told me she's gone to the shop & if I don't mind I can come & fetch her.  When I went to collect her I found her by the van buying some clothes & she just gave me the key to check in myself (which I found not professional) but got to my room & the bin was dirty, no towels in the room, there was some left over water from previous guests.

After addressing the issue with her (still at the shopping van by the street) she told me she's been very busy & I'm not the only guest in the B&B. 

Please let me know if this has been fixed: & can we get the speed point machine working since the website doesn't say cash only.

Very Disappointing

If I could give it zero stars, I would. This is one of the worst experiences ever! My husband had an operation on the 5th December 2017.  We traveled from Polokwane to Pretoria and booked this hotel well in advance. My husband got discharged a little late and I phoned them to inform them that we will be checking in late. The receptionist told us that if we do not come now, we must rather cancel. We told her that we are definitely coming as we had nowhere else to stay, she threw the phone down in our ears. When I phoned again, the domestic picked the phone up and told as the receptionist went to the store she cannot help is. I phoned for the 3rd time to say that we are on our way (it was just after 5pm) - the phone did not even ring it was clear that they took the phone off the hook. We could not check in and I had to look for an alternative hotel, in the night with a husband that just got out of the hospital and a 10 year old daughter. We booked through Booking.com and phoned them in the Netherlands to inform them how unhappy we were with the service. Its pathetic. To date hereof did not receive any apology. Do not book this hotel.

Stay away!! Scam.

I made a reservation for 2 x adults and 1 child aged 10 through Booking.com. We were running late on the evening that we were supposed to check-in so I decided to call them and inform them we will be checking later than expected.

The receptionist by the name of Agnes / Venesssa answered the phone in an very unprofessional manner. I continued to explain to her the we are running late. The receptionist then rudely said that they can’t accommodate a child aged 10 and said this information was on their website. I explained to her that I made booking on Booking.com and not on their website. She kept saying that they can’t accommodate our child. With an accustomed South African Government attitude she said that we should rather cancel the booking. This was an clear indication of unprofessional, unintelligent and a serious lack of customer care. She then ended the call and must have left the phone of the hook as the number could not be reached again.

This kind of behavior should not be tolerated anywhere and clearly shows the reverse apartheid sentiment we get exposed to on a daily bases.

We ended up staying at the most beautiful guest house by the name of Lavenders at Constanta which was very close to the original property and they when out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help me recover from my operation that I underwent.

I hav serious doubts about using Booking.com again in the future but will see how they handle our complaint.
