Best guest house experience I’ve had so far, quiet neighborhood, safe environment, the manager was really sweet and helped with whatever I needed/asked, fast wifi, unlimited Netflix haha, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the Pretoria area

Excellent service, very friendly and kind staff, great accommodation, quiet neighborhood, and fantastic food. They have secure parking, and the high walls and offer a further sense of privacy and security, with the property being large enough not to feel cramped in.

The room and bathroom was stunning, clean, large, and comfortable, beautifully decorated, stylish, modern, with the Moroccan theme tastefully incorporated.

There were milk, rusks, teas and coffees to your liking, a kettle, a convenient desk plug for your laptop, a convenient bed-plug for your phone, Peaceful Sleep for the mosquitoes, and a delightful chocolate treat and lavender flowers on the comfy bed. The entire area was well-lit (but not harshly so, and several switches to decide which areas to light up), with a warm welcoming glow. 

Inside of the bathroom I was spoilt for choice with both a shower and bathtub (with jets), and they offered soaps, shampoo, and lotion as well (it smelt really nice). The water was toasty warm, and it was really nice to relax there after a long day.

It really felt like a stress-free little cottage, somewhere peaceful and quiet. I had my own little garden, and it was lovely to just sit out there and smell the lavenders, watching the upcoming thunderstorm in the distance. 

Dinner included both a main meal (super cheesy rosemary risotto with mushrooms, it was really good), dessert (cheesecake with caramel, yay!) and a sparkling drink (red grape, super yummy). 

Breakfast was a feast fit for kings: you can start with muesli and a large mix of cut fruits (with blueberries and strawberries, too!), an assortment of yogurts, and a nice filter coffee. After that, I received a slice of toast, jam, butter, two eggs (perfectly done, yolk not overly runny but soft, whites solid but not rubbery), a super cheesy cheese-griller, two slices of soft-yet-crispy bacon, rosemary-mushrooms (they were delightful: buttery taste, perfect texture), and a big slice of fried tomato (also perfectly done). On the table they also offered a jug of juice, which complimented the breakfast excellently.

I haven't had the time to explore more of the site itself, but it looks beautiful from what I've seen. The area is quiet, and the road absolutely beautiful (Jacarandas in the streets, very homey street overall). It is located close to the University of Pretoria (~5 min drive, ~8-10 in traffic) and navigation to the Guest House is convenient and easy. 

I'd love to stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Wardorobe guest house, the service was excellent ! 
I highly recommend this guest house , it's clean and spacious people are welcoming, the treatment you get is at the top.
You won't have to worry about the security, it's very safe.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet, very tastefully decorated and the host was extremely nice even when I was late. I had a really good time. Breakfast was great and checkout really easy. I will definitely be back soon

Quiet and beautiful

I've stayed here for 8 nights. I was glad to be here.
Every breakfast was perfect. also, the staffs are very nice and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend here to stay. You will enjoy to be here.

Love the place and people ,I am planing to stay there again , breakfast was warm  everything worked, (dstv,wifi most important gas heater ) parking area is safe and the nagbourhood is clean , they should expect me to visit soon

We had a wonderful stay with a spontaneous and very accommodating host. The room was spacious and very clean. We especially enjoyed the wonderful location of The Wardrobe Guesthouse. We can't wait for our next stay! 

Lovely stay!

Thank you for a great stay! I spent 1 night here on a business trip and wish I could have stayed longer. I was treated to a very spacious room and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are interestingly decorated in a Moroccan style, which was both unique and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for excellent value for money accommodation in a great location. The owner, Marike, and her staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make the stay most enjoyable. I will be back.

Top class establishment

This is a great place to overnight, friendly and feels like you are home.
The units have great space, but could use air con in the top units.
Windows can be cleaned more often.
Bed was very comfy, staff was friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.
