Bedroom is fine to the expected standards. Just very disappointed with the breakfast and staff at the restaurant.  There is no variety at breakfast, just scrambled eggs stacked like bricks. Need to really improve on breakfast and also train your staff on customer service and always taking note of Guests leaving and making sure next Guest doesnt have to clean and tidy their own table.

Quite clean rooms and accessories. 

A small refrigerator and larger closets would help for a more than 2 days stay; of course bearing in mind that it's a Road Lodge after all.

Excellent staff.

Unpleasant stench emanating from dagga smokers infiltrates the Road Lodge premises and facilities/some rooms from the adjacent BP car wash facility reported on the Road Lodge RATE YOUR STAY platform.

A definite home from home for business.

I visited Rustenburg for a funeral and could not drive late at night due to risk N4. So, I decided to book at Road Lodge online via Trip.com. Two hours later I could not find confirmation of my booking and I went and book somewhere just to rest as I was tired. While I was sleeping my account was debited by Road Lodge in Rustenburg and could not go there again because I've already paid for my accommodation. When I follow up with the booking online Trip .com i was told a lady who works at the Hotel by the name of Nonduso said it was nor show after i waited for more than two hours for confirmation. If it was a network or loadshedding problem, how does it affect me as a customer! So, Road Lodge refused to refund me because it was no show, but it took them Two hours to confirm a booking. That was a day light robbery! And it is not for the first time i sleep in the same hotel and very much disappointed in them.  

But that was bad for them to treat their normal guest in that manner. I will never ever use any Road Load Hotel and hope they do well with their useless staff!

Very Bad

Clean bedding, theLodge is located near shopping mall and restaurants. It is also accessible, public transport rank is nearby, but their carpet had strong sickening odour. They also placed a used soap for us in the bathroom. 

It was terrible, I struggled to sleep due to the strong carpet smell

The room was extremely dirty, the Linen and carpet smelled bad.  It is definitely not value for money. The furniture is old and scrap. I could not sleep… the smell of the room was just terrible. Those carpets must be taken out.. huh trauma!!

Horrible experience

There are no extra blankets since it's winter, also we had to wait more than 2 hours for food when the food came it was not worth the wait and also there were Cocoroaches in the room.... I would recommend you stick to vouchers and have extra blankets and also fix the aircons

Extremely bad

Great place for short saty with facility. Clean, secure, tea/coffee facility and essential toileteries, it's quite a bargain with beakfast included. There is a swimming pool where kids can keep busy and  adults a relaxing time with a drink dispenser available.

Room was clean and comfortable with adequate facilities. Meals good and breakfast very nice. I would suggest burglar bars on the ground floor windows so that they can be opened at night. Entrance to hotel at night is very dark, not signposted and one feels unsafe.

Terrible breakfast. Terrible front desk staff.. Will not book at this hotel again. The rooms are tiny, very hot, with 19" TV screens that only show local, boring programs! They have floor standing air conditioning that makes NOISE!

Hotel was clean and good  , and their staff  was very  good  when comes to comminicate with us , breakfast  was very good  and swimming pool was very clean and neat, next I will  visit road lodge rustenburg  again
