We stayed over at Hillwatering Country House recently and have to say that it was great. The establishment was impeccably clean and neat as a pin. Our breakfast was amazing and the hosts were absolutely fantastic.  We will definitely be back to visit soon.

Simply fantastic!

Another great stay at Hillwatering - our go to place to stay when visiting family in Sabie. Excellent rooms which are large and very comfortable. Quiet and secure location and views of the mountains. Will stay again when we next in Sabie.

Another great stay

I was very dissapointed in the fact that there is no TV or aircon in the rooms.  This should be unquestionably part of a unit of R900 per night.
However clean and tidy.  Breakfast not much to talk about for the healthier person.

Not value for money

We stayed 2 nights and it was a wonderful time. 
The house is located in a beautiful scenery and the room offered a view into the mountain.
The hosts were very kind and gave us excellent recommendations.
Last but not least the breakfast was great.  Coming back soon!

Excellent stay!

We chose this B&B because it was not on any main roads through town as these get heavily used by logging trucks and we were not disappointed - it was definitely quiet except for the entertainment by the frogs and birds. 
The two queen bed-rooms are nice and clean and in the case of the upstairs freshly renovated. The bathrooms have a full range of amenities. Well-stocked mini bar. Breakfast and coffee is good and you are well taken care of by the hosts.

Lovely B&B in quiet part of Sabie

This was our third stay at Hillwatering and it did not disappoint. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are well equipped. The beds are super comfortable with high quality bedding. Breakfast on our first morning was a packed box as we headed off to Kruger Park early and was excellent. Our return stay breakfast was at the guest house and it was great too. Would highly recommend Hillwatering if you are spending time in Sabie or the surrounding area.

Best place to stay in Sabie

Good, clean bed and breakfast. Nice rooms. Private parking. The owner give you good tips and maps to visit the Panorama Route. Rooms are very big. With fridge and coffee maker. Even with complimentary sherry.  Not so much privacy when you sitting on your terrace. 

Good bed and breakfast

This was the first guest house we stayed in on our two week trip. It was very comfortable and clean with lovely large rooms and a nice breakfast. There are plenty of places to eat in the nearby town. Ane gave us lots of great advice which was really helpful not only for the time we spent in the area, but for the whole of our trip. In this respect it was a great choice for our first stay.However, Ane told us that he and his wife are leaving soon so there will be a change of management in a couple of months.

Clean and comfortable rooms with knowledgeable and friendly owners. Would highly recommend this guest house to those staying in Sabie. It was also relatively central to the major tourist attractions in the Lowveld. 

Cute and comfy

Located just outside Sabie. Large bedrooms, with a shared verandah overlooking the garden & hills.  Having a fridge in the room was a nice touch, bed was comfortable, with good quality bed linen. Lots of tips offered by owner about where to visit. Comfortable B&B for 1 or 2 nights.
