Room suppled look nothing like the pictures, guests partied all night with loud music and security did nothing. Room was a real let down compared to the pictures on the website. Would never stay there again. Stayed only 1 of the 3 nights we booked and left. Was then offered a better room, but i declined the offer and left.  Was informed later that i would be refunded for 2 nights, booking.com also confirmed, waiting... lets see 

Really a let down

The service was great and their food.Friendly, accommodating staff, willing to help with a smile. Facilities, swimming pool were renovated and good looking rooms. There was a manager that helped to serve us during the set dinners, he was very helpful and polite

It was great

Stunning part of the country. Barbara and team are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. definitely worth a visit. surrounding area has lots to choose from and there are lots of lovely rides in and around the town of Sabie.

Bike weekend to Floreat Riverside Lodge

"An idyllic piece of heaven"??? Honestly, this would be funny if our experience hadn't been so bad.
Terrible quality and terrible service:
Room hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, especially the bathroom. For the two of us, 2 damp bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 small soap.
If you're not woken up by the light coming through the paper-thin curtains, you will be by the noise from the adjacent room through the paper-thin walls.
Reception: Would it be possible to have towels for the swimming pool? No, was the answer. The safe in the room doesn't work. None of them do, was the answer.
Table in the restaurant booked for 7.30pm .. we got our meal at 8.45pm.
The whole place is run down to the ground and we honestly couldn't get out of there soon enough the following morning.
Such a shame, this place has huge potential but is a shambles.

Simply Horrible 

We were pleasantly welcomed and stayed for two nights. The property is beautiful and well placed close to the mountains and river. The room was clean. However, breakfast was disappointing as we were served with expiried margarine. Once we had left, a staffer contacted me about a jacket I had left behind. When I attempted to make arrangements to get it back. I was assured that plans would made to have it delivered. However, it's aweek later now, and no further developments. 

Poor communication

Interested to cum again with everything activity,breakfast,dinner was good. About electricity was better because at least even if there is no electricity there 's a light it was not dark and I love it 

Was wonderful

Excellent service and hospitality.  Beautiful view. Pools were superb. Spa massage, the steam room was so relaxing and refreshing too. I traveled with my daughter and we were very tired and needed a place to sleep and the generois Management gave us most beautiful honeymoon suit which is so beautiful spacious. The bath facikities were beautiful and clean linen and towels. Yhooo I can write until dawn with that beautiful Floreat Lodge.


Most exotic vacation ever

My partner and I were looking for a lovely quiet place to visit, away from the bustle of the city and this was it! Everything about it was amazing, from the service at the front desk where we checked in, the food and to the views around the property. The pool is also so spectacular! There is a spa on the property which offers manis and pedis (which I got done at a very affordable price) and massages are also available which is great. A great variety of breakfast was served every morning! There was scheduled load-shedding but luckily the lights still worked during those times which was so convenient. The lodge is central to many of the great sights to visit in Sabie and Graskop which makes for a scenic drive. Absolutely loved everything about this place. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning!

Little corner of heaven

The place is old but it is beautiful and well located for a strategic planning session. There are no disturbances. They can improve on their meals though. I don't sleep at the facility but those who do are satisfied with the accommodation that is being provided.

The place is beautiful and the service was amazing. I can't wait to go back.
The chalets was beautiful more than I expected,clean and big enough. The braai area. An amazing experience, thank floreat riverside lodge. 5 star you are.
