We needed a second location in St Lucia and Zulani was a good choice given the location near the high street. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided everything we needed. The breakfast provided was extensive and keep use going until evening.

Ideally Located

The owners have clearly created an excellent environment with guest room rather like a motel facing inwards towards a splendid garden & pool.  However, that was probably sometime ago, as in some way’s it’s getting a little tired.  The bathroom needs refurbishing (dark marks around in the tiles & shower head replacement), the breakfast (although a small banquet) was over cooked & I didn’t particularly care for the way the lady of the house spoke to her staff.  Having said all of that, there’s no reason why this guest house couldn’t be great again!  The room was comfy, clean & quiet.  The location is as pretty good for the town centre, but in a quiet location.

Could be great

Great location just a short walk to the Main Street where the shops and restaurants are located.

June and Gary were get hosts, explaining all there was to do in the area and giving us details of restaurants etc and lending us cooler bags for when we went exploring during the day.

Our room was very spacious although it could do with updating a little, but it was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and hot items were cooked to order.

Definitely worth a stay and very good value - great, friendly staff and very welcoming.

Great location - very friendly hosts!

We had a wonderful stay in this guesthouse. The beds were comfortable. The room pleasantly decorated. There is a nice inner-court with swimming pool. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and cosy. They did all to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In the morning an excellent breakfast is served on the veranda or inside if it is too cold. Very good restaurants are on walking distance and it is safe to walk, but if you meet a hippo it is better to keep a distance. The price-qualtiy is excellent. This is a five star option for the price of one.

Super

Staying here is probably a matter of perspective and what you expect in a guest house. On the plus side, the location is very convenient to the Main Street, the hosts are lovely, and the breakfast offering was great (including pancakes for our kids). However, the facilities really need some serious updating and better cleaning (e.g., leaks in various places, geico droppings all over the walls, inconsistent hot water, general cleanliness). Oh and it’s worth noting that you need to call them when you are checking in, because the guest house isn’t staffed consistently during the day. 

Decent option

Hosts June and Gary, very friendly and welcoming. Julie and Glenda arrived on a Sunday, went to buy some wine. No alcohol sold on Sunday. June happily gave us two bottles, which we replaced the next day. Rooms large, clean. Beds comfy. Pool lovely. Great location. Saw hippos walking past at night while sitting on our patio. Would definitely stay again.

Very impressed

We stayed at Zulani Guest House for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Gary and June are great host who took care of all our needs. The gave us a lot of information and tips about what to do around St Lucia and provided us with beach towels, cooler boxes and deck chairs for our trip to the beach. We booked our Game Drive through them and they were a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend a stay at Zulani Guest house if you’re visiting St Lucia.
