There is no way this establishment is 4 stars. The furniture is dated and the manageress is not helpful. If one books for 7 adults and they book two of your party in kids’ double bunks is a dingy room, down a dangerous flight of stairs past a pool that’s not fenced. Description of that room says especially for backpackers and children ??! 
A distinct smell of curry pervades the house. One of the rooms is described in the flyer as sea facing. What a joke. The sea is about 20kms away with a view of an industrial area predominant, certainly not “best address with picturesque surroundings”   That’s false advertising. 
One is not allowed to change the tv channel as it’s a shared channel !?  In a 4 star establishment one would have a choice.
No doorbell, one has to phone the manageress for access and they they switch the alarm off at 6am, waking one up. 
Also not keen to serve breakfast although it optional on the website. 
Totally would not set foot there again.

One night stay

A very nice place. Our room was very comfortable. There is a lounge to sit and watch TV. Tea/coffee available. Secure parking. We had a cooked breakfast and was very good. The owner was very friendly too. There is a pool available too.

Very nice place.

Went there with 7 adults for a wedding. One of the rooms allocated looked like a maids quarter outside with bunk beds. Looked more like a backpackers lodge. Owner very rude and abrupt, should not be in hospitality. Not value for money.

Not value for money and inhospitable

We occupied both rooms; one big spacious room inside the house and another close to the pool with entrance from beside the pool (with bunk beds). We also made use of the dining room inside the main house and stayed there for the evening (we had eaten so well earlier at the Strandlooper). The owner was very nice towards us, and served a generous breakfast the next morning. Altogether a good experience.

A good place to stay

Beautiful view from garden area over Saldanha, rooms very modern and fully equipped for self caterers. Close to town and the mall.

Owners will do what they have to, not the extra mile, not even when in desperate need of help. Athough the place is beautiful i will not stay there again, service in my mind is just as important.
(our car broke down and we had to stay over in vredenburg, owner did not even give my husband a lift to the car rental place, he had to walk, i had an operation and we needed help with luggage but no help either, we wanted to leave our trailer there for 2 days out of the way of parking and other guests cause we could not get a car with a towbar, they refused - pathetic in my opinion to say the least)

Impressive view

Truly enjoyed my stay here. Very clean, quiet, spacious and great service from the owner. Definitely a place to visit again! Breakfast is served with a magnificent view, and is an all round worth the stay.
