We always receive a warm welcome after a long day of travelling. It is value for money especially for the locals so we can also embrace the beauty & peace that the garden route offers & we certainly experience the peace that the city does not offer. 

Friendly Welcome, Beautiful & Peaceful surroundings.

The accommodation is a little rustic but well worth the price you pay. Beds are not the most comfortable. The room is neat and clean, unfortunately towels were missing but they are available as we found out the next morning. If you're on a budget this spot is a must.

Night Stop Over

great place to stay with a very welcoming host, it is conveniently located close to the national park and other activities in the area. We would definitely be interested in staying again if we are in the stormsriver area. 

This was a relaxing getaway with friends. 
Our accommodation was clean and it felt like home away from home!
Very safe and we will be visiting again. I can recommend this, very convenient close to shop

RELAXING & PRIVATE

Compared to other accommodation during our 10 day trip (different place  every night), this was not up standard. The towels were paper thin and smelled musty. Though the host was friendly the accommodation was too basic. No wifi in the rondavel, no soap, no tea/coffee, no two prong plug and not particularly clean! Granted it wasn't  expensive, but I would not go back again.

Not what I expected

Will never stay here again.
Dirty leaking toilet, mouldy shower, dark no natural light in the living area. Reception was not too bad as the owner requested we stay in our vehicle until him and his kids had picked up all the dog poo.
Will not recommend

Terrible

The two days/nights spent at Imka was most enjoyable, the facilities adequate, the reception on arriving was good. I would recommend the retreat. I will again use the retreat when in the area again. Perhaps one could consider TV in the rooms, I am not sure if there was wifi as I used my own.  

Fun At Imka Trinity Retreat

Was a terrible experience... we booked 2 night and had to leave after the first night. 
The place is damp, with a bad smell, dirty and some of the equipment is broken or damaged.
First thing in the morning we looked for a new place and left. Property owners had no comments or explanations and moreover weren't prepared to refund the night we canceled.

Avoid staying there

This house needs a serious makeover ! This house was not cleened up after the previous owners.  The house is updated and does not smell fresh!   
We do not understand that this achieves a high score on booking.com

Makevover and maintenaince required

functional and clean, but not stylish or modern, did the job - provided a convenient located overnight stay, however bathroom is through second bedroom, which could be bit of hassle for those who needs to use the second bedroom, I would say better for families with kids than for e.g. 2 couples.
