We had booked the overnight with included breakfast although it shouldn't have been possible. The landlord fixed this at a glance! Excellent breakfast was servered at the elegant terrasse.
The bathroom was big with lots of towels etc. Very comfortable indeed. Maybe the shower was a bit too big?

Excellent service and comfortable bathroom

The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with the exception of aircons and fans or wi-fi.  We had a very good breakfast the following morning. I would recommend this venue to anyone!   

The host were very accommodating of our special requirements and made every effort to ensure we had a good stay.  This is one lodge I will return to for a longer stay.

Great place stay - very friendly hosts.

We had a very warm welcome from our hosts Micheal and Bette  who could not do enough to make our stay comfortable 
and enjoyable. The garden rooms where we stayed were peaceful and comfortable with a veranda for sitting out. We thoroughly recommend this place for a stay.

Langeberg guest lodge 

Highly recommended by us. After several nights in standardized, anonymous accommodations, we greatly appreciated the individual and warm host qualities of Beate and Michael. They welcomed us personally and explained everything about the accommodation and the surroundings in detail. Our room was very clean and apart from a TV we really didn't miss anything. However, the internet was very weak, probably our room was too far away from the router because it was very good in the breakfast room. 
The breakfast was lovingly prepared, many things come from their own garden and are healthy. Here only cold cuts were missing. In the near surroundings there is everything you need: restaurants, supermarkets, a gas station, etc..
We felt very comfortable with both of them!

Very recommendable - very host-friendly owners!

Our family of 4 had 2 units which was ideal for our grown up children.
Hosts very helpful and accommodating with a delicious breakfast prepared by Michael each morning. Good location to explore this region and plenty of helpful advice on where to travel and visit 

Nice stay in Swellendam

Well located old and clean but due  for an upgrade. The room was  spacious but had minimal amenities    TV with just SABC and  no Aircon. No eclectic blankets for cold nights as it was slow season and winter, 
The cost  did not warrant what was on offer reviews were good but it must be Persons use to  staying in a 3 star  not SA standards   

Swellendam stay

Lovely place, wonderful friendly and knowledgeablw hosts. Good food for breakfast. The room was a little cold especially the bathroom but otherwise comfortable. Great location and spacious. Reasonably priced

Nice place

Very friendly place, the best breakfast on the garden route! Rooms decorated very African and the hostess very helpful and service oriented.  Highly recommended, clean and rooms very independent to each other

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely Guest lodge!
Beate & Michael give you the feeling that you stay at home whilst abroad! The service and attention gives you a warm welcome and makes that you feal at ease! This together with a nice garden and tastefully decorated lodges completed by a delicious breakfast is everything you need!
Will defenitively return when visiting South Africa again!

Feel at home abroad!!

This is a lovely lodge in a cute little town. The owners are very welcoming and enthusiastic about the region. They have collected many interesting African artifacts to decorate and the murals are beautiful. The cottages are spacious with large bathrooms. The only downside is not having aircon and very weak WiFi. The breakfast was delicious. Also the property is gated so very secure. We would definitely stay again.
