I stay here frequently on business trips and are always greeted with a smile. Breakfast is great and the rooms beautiful with great attention to detail. The staff are friendly and attentive. Until we meet again!!

Peacefull haven

Was it not for the noisy neighbours that returned in the early morning hours after a night out, this would have been a very pleasant stay.
The location was ideal for us due to family commitments in the area,
Please check your bar fridge as there was a big water puddle under it when we arrived, sorry for the dirty towel, but it had to be dried...

Pleasant, but noisy neighbours

Everything was perfect but I think rating rooms including breakfast will be better and I think giving guests a call to let them know about the dinner and lunch arrangements would be good before stay because Booking.com has limited information 

Rooms are neat  and beautiful

The room was nothing like What I booked. The room was smaller than what was shown on their website. The linen and the pillows had stains on them. We had to call the reception to have them changed. The bed was really a mess. A king size bed is usually made out of 2 single beds bases and a king mattress is used. In this case it was a case of 2 single beds being joined together and a mattress pillow top was put on top to give an illusion that it was one mattress. Because my partner and I's weight differs, my side of the bed was lowered so the bed was not even which was really uncomfortable. The mattress on one side was smaller than the base and they the put some sort of wooden board between the base and the mattress and I honestly don't know why they did that because the board was protruding and my partner and I bumped that thing so many times. They used concrete face statue as side tables which was rather odd and spooky and the side lamps just didn't suit the theme of the room. The chair and table were just terrible. The website showed a swivel chair with armrest but instead we got a wooden chair which can't even support your back properly. The table was a steel table that one would use for catering events. The place also had a lot of ants. The ants the were so many that some would legit snuggle with us. The bathroom had a number of spiders

Not such a pleasant stay

It was really great staying there for our anniversary. I'm thankful that we were attended to with a sense of urgency and given an exceptional room. Thank you for going the extra mile for us. We are definitely looking forward to seeing you again.

Amazing Stay

I stayed at Little Eden Guest Lodge for a night in November 2020. It was raining outside and also inside the rooms. I made a booking via hotels.com online and when I arrived at the guesthouse I was told the payment has not reflected yet so I had to make another payment. I have been waiting for a refund for more than 6 months now even after sending proof payment and making follow ups. I have been sent from pillar to post. I was given a number that does not exist for a lady who was apparently supposed to resolve this issue.

Raining inside the room and double payment

We have stayed here on 3 previous occasions whilst visiting my dad.  Unfortunately my dad passed away and we needed a return visit for the funeral.  We gave the hotel very little notice but the exceeded themselves in making things as painless as possible.. The owner even upgraded our room, I think possibly because he was aware of why we were visiting.
Yes, I agree, there are a few things that need attention but if raised with the staff they immediately rally to fix whatever is wrong.  Breakfast is all you could ask for and everyone in the office is lovely.  The Internet is not great but that is not the fault of the hotel I think it is the area.  My husband needed to work in the evenings and the staff ensured that we had the best access they could offer.  I would highly recommend this hotel.  Rooms are cleaned daily and we have never had an issie with the quality of the bed.  Thank you all for looking after us at such a sad time.

I was part of a business group that reserved and paid in advance. When we checked in, we had to use mobile phones with an app to complete our personal details. The details required was in my opinion totally overboard and included ID number, address, photo of driver’s licence, car registration number. I am very uncomfortable to provide all these days where idenitity theft and the possibility that personal particulars can be provided to other parties.

The room was neat with limited DSTV, but the bathroom was very small (with a less that 40cm width entrance to the shower.

None of our WiFI passwords worked

The restaurant was very neat and breakfast very good.

Ridiculous check-in requirements

The place is clean but attention to detail is lacking. Including a lack of clear communication. Only learned there is no breakfast the morning we arrived for breakfast. So we had breakfast at a restaurant in the area.
I communicated the first morning that there was no hot water in the shower, that the washing basin tap was totally dysfunctional and that the bed mattress had its best days long ago. That night I opened all the windows to let some fresh air in. During the night the security came and closed all the windows from the outside, why I do not know. I woke up and realised that the place is getting too hot. Unfortunately there is only a thick duvet and nothing else to cover yourself with.
On the second day of my stay at 21:30 I was sent a message via whats app that I can move to another room. Needless to say I just had my second cold shower, the washing basin tap was still dysfunctional and the bad mattress was still with me.  The second night I rather tried the air conditioner. It uses a universal remote and the flipper cannot be adjusted. This flipper was making an awful noise the whole night until I switched it off at 02;00 and rather tried the open windows again...
On the porch in front of the rooms are very arty steel works but you cannot walk on the porch because you will end up in ICU for hitting your head against the arty steel. This is a definite safety hazard that requires urgent attention.
In conclusion - This is NOT a four star facility!!!!!  If you expect 4 stars, stay away!!!
