I'm so sorry to write a negative review, because the family who runs this place is lovely, but the hotel itself is nothing alike what it promises to be on their website. The pictures there must be really old, now it just looks shabby and old. There are so many things in and around the house that should be fixed. Our room had a strong smell of old furniture and the promised terrace to the garden could not be used because there was dog poop everywhere (they have more than 6 dogs). Also you can't use the roof terraces, because there are no chairs or anything, and it's very dirty.
I bet this was a nice place 20years ago, but as zero effort is put in, it's not really worth a stay.

Best times are over

We had a beautiful room. The whole house was furnished lovely. Unfortunately we still have to note that we had a lot accommodations that had a better value for less money. Especially because on our booking confirmation it said we had breakfast included but there was no (when we asked about it when we wanted to pay, it was explained that it is different on several websites and that especially our room has no breakfast included?!? No compensation for their mistake-since we wouldn't have booked it without breakfast for that price).
In general, we were just used to more welcoming and caring hospitality from the previous B&B's on our trip. 
The location of the accommodation was good- you can easily walk to the restaurants in town (go to The Girls Restaurant!)
