The friendly owner has managed to create a warm and clean space for travellers. The rooms, facilities, and sleeping areas are very well planned. Great location too. It wouldn't be uncommon to catch a glorious sunrise 🌅

MOZZI hostel

This was my second time staying in the Mozzi Hostel. It was clean and comfortable, the owner speaks excellent English and is very helpful and kind, I smashed my phone in Busan and he helped me find the Samsung service centre. There is also great privacy with curtains on the beds, large lockers to put your bags in and the bathroom is down the hall so you won't get woken up by a roommate showering, flushing the toilet or using the hairdryer. They also have good laundry facilities which you can use for a small fee. The other great thing about the Mozzie Hostel though is the location. Busan Station is about 50 meters away so you can go anywhere you want very easily either on the Metro, KTX or ITX line. If you are catching the train from Soul, it is so nice to only have a three-minute walk to get to the hostel after the journey. There is also a taxi rank to Busan Station so if you want to get somewhere by taxi they are easy to find. You can also tell a taxi driver to go to Busan Station which is easy for them to find so you won't get yelled at if you can't give them Mozzie Hostels address in Hangul/Korean. Also, for people like me who are vegetarian and/or vegan, there are great vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants within walking distance or a short bus or train ride (you can find them on the Happy Cow app) so you won't starve.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel. I was kind of lucky I guess that there were only me and another female in the 4 bunk beds dorm. I totally recommend it, it is clean, good security, the room is cosy and private (the mattress is to die for). It is only a 2 minutes walk from Busan KTX and very near subway ride to Mapo, jagalchi and Soemyeon. They have 3 separate shower rooms which are nice and 2 man toilets and 2 female toilets. The smell from the toilet is the only thing that is negative about this place. The breakfast is basic, toast with jam and cereal. There is a water cooler so just fill up your water bottle. From the kitchen and dining you can see an open space view that looks nice at night time. Everything is provided, even indoor sandal.  If you like dog, then Mozzi, the cocker spaniel is a bonus, once you introduced yourself to him, he is friendly. If I ever go back to Busan, I’d definitely will book here again.

Totally recommend

I booked this place as it’s a stone’s throw away from Busan Station (Metro & KTX) where I will be arriving and leaving for Seoul via KTX.

They have a cute and obedient house dog, didn’t bark, and only saw it when I checked in and out. I stayed 2 nights.

Owner speaks English.

Pros:
-Very near Busan Station (Metro & KTX) : 5 mins tops
-Metro station, taxi stand, Busan hop on hop off bus right outside of Busan Station 
-Feels safe even when walking back at close to midnight.
-Line of tents selling food at night (one or two were still open at midnight)
-Hostel at level 5 with lift access
-Access code padlocks for rooms
-Locker space with key in room, can fit my 25inch luggage 
-Clean and well kept rooms
-Aircon in room can be self adjusted 
- 3 separate bathrooms with changing space, water pressure good
-Nice common area, with a nice view to just relax
-TV, printer, in common area
-Basic kitchen facilities (Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster)
-Shoe rack at the entrance, slippers provided. No stray shoes or luggage lying around the premises 

Cons:
-Towel provided not for body
-Main door & hallway door not locked (although they issue passcode for the main door and hallway door)
-No vanity area / powder space for female (though there is a mirror and space in room to do that)
-Charging outlets too high and my cables are short, I had to prop up a few things to act as a table
-2 hair dryers which are by the 3 sinks in the toilet, no separate counter top for that 
-10% surcharge should you choose to make payment by credit card

Clean, safe, nice view, Busan Station 

The owners of this hostel are so welcoming and friendly towards all who visits the property. I appreciate the welcome tour around the hostel, demonstrating how to use the digital locks etc. It is also a good place to meet people from around the world. Rooms are incredibly clean and neat, very high standards maintained. Towels are issued as well, and there are toiletries in case you forget to pack them in your luggage. In front of the hostel is a stretch of street side eateries that are open from evening onwards - perfect for a taste of something local. Only 3 minutes walk away from exit 1 of Busan Station, which is also where the Busan City Tour and Busan Jumbo Buses operates. I will definitely return to this hostel if I visit Busan again!

Wonderful hospitality, convenient and friendly people

The hostel was easily accesible  to the main transport systems such as the Metro, KTX(to get to other cities in Korea) and bus stops which were all walking distance and easy to find. Along the hostel there is a night street food market with local Korean food which was tasty and reasonably priced. The hostel was clean and quiet and had a continental breakfast that was suficient to fill you till lunch time. The breakfast was free and included bread which could be toasted, cereal, milk, tea, coffee which was freshly prepared and satchets of coffee along with, Nutella and Peanut butter spreads.

Most importantly the management was ever willing to help us out with directions to the main tourist attractions and even arranged a taxi for us to get to the International airport at 5am. The owner even came down to leave our us to our taxi early in the morning which showed how hospitable he was.

Convenient location ,clean hostel and helpful management

Three details make the Mozzi Hostel (or Mojji, depending on the romanization) an excellent hostel for staying in Busan: its location a few steps from the train station, impeccable cleaning in all its areas (bathrooms, rooms, living room) and finally the MAGNIFIC view of the Busan Bay Bridge that is held from the panoramic kitchen-dining window. The price of the bedroom bed is somewhat high compared to other hostels in the city, but for the three points mentioned, it is worth every penny paid. Thanks to the subway you can easily get to other parts of the city quickly and safely. The rooms are comfortable, clean and equipped with spaces with individual mock-ups.
