located just 5 minutes away from Haeundae station is this cozy guesthouse. the staffs were really helpful to provide recommendations for places to go and to have meals.

The guesthouse is really clean and spacious. the bed is comfortable too!

definitely recommend to for budget stay in Busan. very accessible to most places. and near to lots of restaurants as well as minutes walk to Haeundae beach.

good location and clean room

The owner/owner of the hotel is wonderful. He even prepared dinner for some of us at our request (we all went to the shops and went into the steaks for dinner together). It was a great experience staying there. The only inconvenience I think is one toilet and shower for all the guests.

It was a great experience staying there. Only inconvenient I find was there were quite few toilets and shower available for the many guests at the place. 

Place is clean :). Will visit again.

Great host

The staff is adorable and very caring. The hostel is ideally located 5 minutes' walk from the beach and Haeundae metro station. All shops and restaurants are also nearby! However, the sheets were in a deplorable condition: we found dirty handkerchiefs, cotton tiles, lighters, hair, hairs and other items in our so-called clean beds.

Very good but sometimes questionable hygiene

My friend and I stayed several nights at Hello Guesthouse in Busan. We both agreed that it's the best accommodation we've ever had! Perfect location&cozy facilities. The staff members of the guest house are just amazing. They always answer our questions very kindly. (We had no idea about traveling Busan..so sorry for bothering them with plenty of silly questions. they're angels) If you haven't figured out where to go or what to do in Busan yet, ask them for help. They'll give you countless recommendations in perfect English. We'd like to visit again someday soon! Overall, we'll give it 9.5 out of ten. (-0.5 pt because of the stairs :p it's located on 2F so you got to lift your luggage. Not a big deal though!)

I spent 2 nights at Hello Guesthouse. It was my first time in Busan, but the staff at the guesthouse helped me alot so I could spent great time in Busan. Everyone at the guesthouse was very hospitable. 
The guesthouse has spacious lounge and kitchen and my room was clean and comfy. Shower room was okay. There was no rabbit or other pets now.  
It is near Haeundae Station and beach. Convenience store and pubs are close to the guesthouse as well. The price was cheap, considering the location, facilities, and cleanliness. I really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse and I would definitely visit here again.

friendly atmosphere

We stayed at Nicole's for eight nights, a very nice and lovely team with our two children, three minutes from Haeundae Beach, with a superb barbecue terrace, clean and spacious.

We spent 3 nights at hello guesthouse in Busan. Initially it was difficult to find, however it was actually our mistake we subsequently found out. The instructions say walk towards the beach front and turn right after the Thursday club and convenience store. If you miss the 1st Thursday club there is a 2nd one, again with a convenience store next door! This really threw us and we couldn't work out why the instructions were so bad, our mistake! 

The hostel is large and backpacker friendly. Large communal areas on both floors and decent kitchens. Level 2 also has a large terrace. The dorms are less good, a little on the small size. Creeky wooden bunks and no power sockets or lights for each bed. 
The free breakfast in the morning was basic but plenty, it certainly helped keep the costs down. the staff were friendly and tried to talk a little with broken English. 

The bathrooms are pretty messy, it doesn't bother me that much, but some people would really be put off by them. 

If I was in busan again I would happily come back.
