Hi. My frien and I was there last spring 2015. We reached there around 8pm. It was quite late and the owner of the guesthouse asked us if we already had dinner or not (so very kind of him). Of course we didn't. Then he made some calls to few restaurants which didn't serve pork since we are all Muslims. He also drove us to the restaurant (thanks so much!!!). The food was so good and we finished every bit of it. 

We had a dormitory room. It was really cozy, clean and comfortable. We also joined a tour arranged by the guesthouse to few craters (?). Later that day, we drove ourselves to Bijarim ( I love this forest the most😍😍😍), Manjangul Cave, Gimnyeong Maze park, beach, drove along the sea side which was so freakingly windy and cold.

Overall, i give 10/10 stars and 2 thumbs up for the hospitality.

Cozy and very quiet..peaceful I mean

I really enjoyed staying here. The place is clean and friendly staff. Felt like home and had nice breads with cheese there. Love hangingout here at night sitting on the bench front of the house.  Recommended for those who wants to take hike see morning view at Seongsan Ilchilbong. Thumbs up!

Really comfy Guesthouse!!

took 1 and half hours to reached the guesthouse, near Haenyeo Museum( 2 minutes walk distance ), The Beach ( 2 minutes walk distance ) and some tourist attraction in Seongsan ( seongsan Ilchulbong , Udo Island ) took 15 minutes drive. The Guesthouse is very clean, fast Wi-Fi , nice B'fast . the most are Mr. Ryu ( the owner ) very kind , Knowledgeable and caring person !..

Highly Recommended

Stayed in the family suite for 3 nights to explore the northeastern side of Jeju.  Enjoyed great hospitality of the owner who cooked us dinner in our last evening.

Walking distance to reasonably priced eateries and is close to Haneyeo Museum which is worthwhile to check out.  

Definitively recommending this guesthouse.  Very neat, clean and tidy.  It would have been even better if the ventilation in the common room cum kitchen could be improved.

Sweet like home

We choose to stay here because we want to see the sunrise in Seongsan.

You have to bring your own towel...... you have to make your own breakfast and do the dishes...... these I learned from previous reviews so it wasn't a problem for us.  The owner doesn't seem to care about money.  He didn't ask for a deposit.  He didn't ask us to pay when we got there(I offered to pay after awhile).  He wasn't there when we arrived.  We found out later there was a note that you could move into your own room(the rooms were labelled with the guest's names on the door).  The family room and the double room are on one side, sharing a bathroom; the dormitorites are on the other side.  I think there are three dormitory rooms...... and one of them has a bathroom to itself(I wished we had that room!).  The property is clean(amidst  the family room is not too big), it is just off the major road 1132(there is a S-Oil).  There is a village with a few restaurants and a supermarket(there is a map on the wall of the guesthouse). We drove so it wasn't too far from the property.  Take a look at the photos and see if you like it.

I take off a star because we have to share the bathroom with the double room.  If you don't mind that, it is a five star...... taking the price into consideration.  Owner really lay-back, I like his style...... highly recommended!
