It is located inside of the 전주한옥마을, very convenient to sightseeing. So many places to visit around here and the staff is very kind and inform us many good area to vsit and eat out. It is traditional Korean style house and you can experience of the most KOREAN lodging. The weather was cold, but the floor heating was awesome.

Dukmanjae is relatively easy to find and within walking distance if you travel by public transport. The place is clean and comfortable and have the basic necessities that we needed for the night. The floor heating does its job a little too well, we needed double layer sheets to avoid getting burns. Other than that, it is a beautiful place and it was a worthwhile experience.

The owner is very friendly and paid us a visit after check-in to ensure that we are settling in okay. She handed us maps and recommended us places to eat. Super!

Traditional Korean houses - Hanok

Host is friendly and helpful. We are the only guest during our stay so we can enjoy the quietness in lovely small garden. It is located near the main street so most spots are within walking distance. All rooms equipped with heated floor and simple breakfast and coffee are provided.

Little lovely hanok homestay

We stayed for 2 nights in freezing January, the floor heating kept us very cosy. Host was lovely and helpful. She gave us recommendations on activities to do in the Hanok Village and assisted with a taxi to the station when it was time to leave. Location was ideal, only a 5-10 minute walk from the Main Street. Would definitely recommend to our friends. 

Great hanok

I stay in dukmanjae for a night in november,  the place is strategic near to tourist site (walking distance),  the owner is really nice eventhough that i check in a bit late i just call her and she come to help me,  she even gave me an informartion bout the city map,  suggest place to eat and a good place to rent Hanbok (get a discount too) the room is warm in autumn, clean and have a wonderful garden..would definitely come back here again 😁😁thank you for the hospitality..

Korean style hotel in jeonju

Good experience staying in a traditional guesthouse. As it was cold the flooring tends  to get very hot in the night so you would need to put thicker blankets . It is in a good location, easily accessible to all that you need to see. The guesthouse can be slightly difficult to locate but there is a Holly's Coffee at the corner adjacent to the place. That might help the cab driver or be on the lookout for it. Be sure to try the bibimbap as this area is known for. Overall I would recommend if you want a taste of a hanook stay.
