The host were very accommodating to our request. We arrived quite late i.e. past the check-in time. We didn't realise we were going to be late and he waited for us patiently.

He picked us some tangerines during our stay; he invited us to pick the tangerines ourselves but had to decline due to limited time.

We enjoyed sleeping on the mattress on the floor. We were out hiking so the floor heating made it possible for us to sleep comfortably after being outdoor in the cold winter.

Memories

This place is set in a beautiful and relaxed neighbourhood. No problems locating the place as long as you know what you are looking for. The room was warm and nice and we did alot of cooking in the functional kitchenette. The gardens was well-kept and lovely and we spent quite a few hours sitting outside even in winter. The friendly owner made the stay doubly wonderful with his advises on our activities and gear required. We had a great time there and will definitely visit again. Thank you for the hospitality.

Warm and Safe. Feels like Home

The environment at the pension was great. The pension was clean and there is a kitchenette for use. Great for family or friends to stay as it's has almost everything you need! However, it will be good to have a car or taxi to travel to and fro the pension. The manager of the pension is also really helpful! So do not hesitate to ask for help! A beautiful place to stay in!

Your mini private holiday villa

We chose this place because of the location and convenience seen that we were 4 adults and we liked the idea of being all under the same roof. 
For 4 adults this provides a good standard accommodation at good value for money for the area however please note that the sleeping arrangements are: 1 big master bedroom (double bed) with large bathroom upstairs and a sofa bed in open plan lounge/kitchen downstairs with bathroom on the same floor (total 2 bathrooms). 
The sofa bed doesn't quite make a double bed when opened up (it's more the size of a 1.5 bed) so it may not be suitable for very large couples (ok for one person or for two small people/children) however there is the option of sleeping on the floor using the bed lined provided if you don't mind that (Korean style). 
This is a good arrangement for families or 4 adults who are comfortable with the limited privacy of sleeping on a sofa in the lounge. 
Overall it is a nice property. 
Because of the location it is best for people who have access to a car as this hotel is on a small country lane and not on a main road. It is inland with the sea visible in the distance.
Quiet at night. Some hungry mosquitos in the garden at sunset but it seemed ok in the house provided we kept the front door closed (there are screens on the windows). The property comes with a bottle of insect killer spray but we did not use it. 
A slight smell of must when coming form outside, probably due to the wooden interior and windows kept closed all day but the property was clean and well kept. 
The fields around the property and the field behind the house have mandarin orchards. I imagine it would be quite striking when the mandarins are in season. 
The owner speaks english.

Good value for families with car

My family and I stayed at Memory in Jeju Pension for a total of 6 days. The location is great for doing things in the Seogwipo area. It is about 45-50 minutes drive from the Jeju airport. 

The room and the grounds were very clean and beautiful. 

If you are staying here and you have a car, I wouldn't think twice about booking to stay at Memory in Jeju. The location is great and not far from many great attractions by car.

If you do not have a car, do not worry. My family and I did not have a car during our stay here and Mr. Darcy was happy to arrange taxi tours for us and call us a taxi whenever we needed it. 

Mr. Darcy speaks perfect English so you will have no communication barrier at all. 

I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay with a family or couple. It is a great option if you have a car but if you don't have a car Mr. Darcy will help you to arrange a taxi :)
