Location is strategic, near Ehwa subway station and bus stop (+/-5min walk), and situated near lots of restaurants, convenience store, clothes stores, and cosmetic shops. The stop for the airport limousine bus is approx 5min walk and will cost you 10,000won, but the hostel offered a discount voucher so that I paid 9.000won for the airport bus.

I booked the single room, good value for money. The room was quite spacious, airconditioned and a mini fridge, LCD TV, and dressing table was available. The bathroom was sufficient in terms of space (not those tiny bathrooms i usually find in hostels in Korea). The cleanliness of the rooms however could be better.

The hostel team was very prompt in communication and helped me out in my booking process.

The hostel doesn't have an elevator tho, so if your room is on the upper floors you might need to carry your own suitcase up and down.

Good location, value for money

We have a good stay in this hostel since it is near with ehwa station n surrounding with a lot of cosmetic shop. Beside the hostel, it really good to try ddakganjeong (spicy chicken halal) boneless with rise. 

Nice stay in hostel

This hostel is suitable for those who came with friends and who loves backpacking. There is a kitchen or pantry and you can cook your own food. For muslim, you dont have to worry about the dishes as they already separate them. The room is just nice as we only sleep since we always go out for sigh seeing and shopping. And my favourite about this hostel is the night market is just outside the hotel. So many things we can find there. The convenience store are everywhere. And halal restaurant is just walking distance. 

Good for backpacker and muslim

Hosts are friendly and accommodating be it in person or online. Food are served on time and instructions on how to use items in the kitchen are well prepared. 

Hostel has a big common area which gives everyone a chance to mingle with the other visitors. 

For those who wants to experience everything during their stay, Shinchon Hostel is the best place to stay. Its surrounded with cosmetics and cheap and trendy clothes shops, a catholic church nearby, lots of food stalls at night, a park to rest, convenience stores left and right and noraebang just right outside exit 2.

Also, i prefer the way going to the hostel from exit 2. Walk straight and turn left on the 2nd street from the subway. Then walk straight again until you see the entrance of the hostel.

Near to everything you need

The place itself is very convenient to access to central area. The hostel is between Ewha Women University Station and Shin Chon Station and took only a few minutes walk to the station. Plus, the airport limousine bus stop is also nearby. Although the room is quite small, it is recommended for budget stay.
