This hostel was great. Really nice staff,  comfy beds, good location. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Seoul and it's on the international  airport subway line too which makes getting to and from the airport so much easier for the early morning flights. 

Loved this hostel

Was staying there with the recommendation of a friend and because it was close to the night market. Had an amazing stay with our bride-to-be and the crew. The owner was sooooooo friendly and nice. He'd take out his guests for dinner and try his best to be an amazing host.

Nice and cozy place to stay with friends or even for backpackers

Hello everyone^^ I stayed in kpop stay guesthouse around 2 months and there became my second home ^^ Staffs are very kind and friendly. And also guesthouse owner is really kind and polite person ^^ they are all trying to make u feel like u are in your own home.. guesthouse’ location is really good. It is into Hongdae ‘s hottest place. Kpopstay is only 5 min to Hongik University and you can go everywhere so easily. Bathrooms, rooms and everywhere is so clean ^^ I cannot wait to go there again... Guesthouse owner Mark is an amazing person :) I will always be thankful to him for his kindness ^^ I miss you Mark !!! I will come back again as soon as possible ^^ I love u all and thank u for amazing experiences... 감사합니다 오빠^^ 빨리 다시 올 거에요 .. 

If you want to feel yourself as you are in your own home , dont be late for choosing Kpopstay Guesthouse ! ^^ 

My second home !!! 

The location of this hostel is ideal, but the rest of the experience wasn't the best. 

Upon arrival my friends and I happily entered with positive greetings. The staff member working hardly acknowledged us, which sort of killed the vibe. Also, we had booked a mixed dorm and they had given those beds away so we were required to stay in separate rooms. 

The bathrooms were very wet and not overly clean. The showers were a little uncomfortable and not overly private from other showering guests. The showers had curtains that were not individual, so in order to leave one of the back showers you had to go though another shower which may have someone in it. 

I didn't have the best experience here. 

Just Okay

We've come 8 persons and reserved 8-bed room. The staffs are very kind. Room is comfortable and there are electric blankets for each. The lockers are below each bed but the keys have to borrow from counter (the deposit is 5000 krw for each).

The toilets (for female) have only two rooms at the first floor. The bathrooms have one, with the curtain separating that room to three little rooms. It will be quite uncomfort for the guest who come alone, because they have to take shower with someone else. But for me, we come back after 10pm every night, so it look like we have our own shower rooms lol.

There is free breakfast for every morning. But because it was quite late for us (and because we had to go too early everyday lol), we hadn't have chance to have the breakfast at the hotel yet. So we cannot review how good or bad the breakfast is. 

For overall, this hostel is in the good location ( opposite to one piece restaurant, that I can take a walk everyday lol) not that far from subway station, reasonable price, comfortable, and very kind staffs. :)

One of the good hostel

I stayed here twice in same year one is in March one is in July. The location is quite good but when I have many stuff to carry then it is quite tired coz it located at the slope and it takes about 15 minutes from the Hongdae exit on foot. But the location is ok as there are a lot of shops for shopping and 3 convenience shops. 
Also most of the staffs from working holiday or studying there so I can see the different staffs there.Most of the staffs are quite nice and the main keeper is look cool but nice.
But some of them always talk very loud even is nearly midnight.
And there is many grass and trees so it is very to get mosquito bites there. Just be cardeful if you are easy to et bite,    Also they don't turn on the air conditioner even the hot summer (More than 30.c degree) in lobby but rooms do, they will turn it off when u leave there even just go to toilet for a shower so if any of you who prefer the air conditioner for summer and no need to turn on by yourself then be careful 
To conclude, I think I will try to stay different hostel or guesthouse not just only one

Good but not the best

Stayed here for five nights during my stay in Seoul. The highlights for me are the friendly staff - who take time to make sure you know where to go, can give very good instructions for how to get there, make recommendations on things that perhaps people don't usually flock to and also ensure your stay is comfortable. It isn't a "party party hostel" but the young staff took me out for a beer and fried chicken at 3am on Friday night :) They play K-Pop videos almost 24/7 on the TV in the main area, breakfast is simple but fine, the location is really good. It's a 10min walk from the nearest two train stops (line 2 and line 6 - which go to almost all of the main attractions) and it's really simple to get here. The staff aren't all Korean so you can have nice chats about many different countries. The area has a young student vibe with lots of shopping, food, bars and clubs. Thank you guys :)

Friendly, Unique, Excellent Location and great staff

I've been to Kpopstay couple of times for the past month. I choose it because the bed looked so sturdy and also I felt like there is some privacy. I was exactly right. Both times I had a wonderful sleep. After the first time, I brought my friend, and he told me he slept better than the bed in his place. Beds don't move at all when someone above or below you moves around, there is a curtain for your privacy, you can't hear anyone outside the room. I wanted to visit this weekend but it's already fully booked so I recommend you to book in advance. The staffs are all friendly and nice too and that's another reason I love to go there.
