Yes, I came back after 6 months and stayed four nights in the same room I stayed when I booked in October 2017. Everything is stil the same if not better. The staff are very kind and accommodating and the kind aunt still remembered me from my last visit. I always travel solo and I find the place really safe  even if I have to walk home very late in the night (or early morning). Although its gets really noisy in the evening due to the drinking places outside  I never felt afraid or bothered by it. Unlike when Im in other countries. The place is clean and homey. It feels like you're renting a dorm room where you are given much freedom to come and go and you rarely see the staff. you can ring the buzzer when you need anything though. It's very accessible. its a few step away from Jongno3Sam-ga exit 6 and airport shuttle bus stops in changdeokgung palace and jongno3Sam-ga are walking distance. I just walked to  most of the places I needed to go and save a loton transportation cost. There are a lot of restaurants around and convenience stores in every corner. And top it all! Its so affordable! I'm still booking with them when I go back in autumn.

It's stilllove it the second time around

For 5 nights we rented the private room for two. Don't be too excited because there's not much comfort and you're not a heartbeat. If your budget is short, don't hesitate even if you have to go prepared. The best location is incredibly good and in the heart of the Korean night. Contras: karaoke with noises, no English speaking, very simple bathroom. Pros: location, price. They wanted to charge $50,000 to go to Gimpo at 6am, pay $21,000 by taking a taxi from the super safe street. The receptionist is a very kind lady who wants to help even though she doesn't speak English but uses a Google translator. Super close to Jongno 3 ga. Very easy to get to with instructions!

 Economical, convenient, location 10

I stayed 5 nights during the long chuseok holiday. The location is so strategic and walking distance to a lot of interesting places. The subway and bus stops are also a few blocks away. A lot of eating places around and relatively safe neighborhood even if it gets a little noisy at night because of a lot of drinking places near it. I love the bed and the pillows are just the best. Definitely I will come and stay here again.

Real cozy and excellent location

Good place to visit insadong, 100m walking distance to subway line 1,3 and 5.
In the neibourghood lots of shops and restaurants especially fish and meet bbq.
However you can hear all the noise and discussion in the guest house from your room.

Perfect localisation

The best thing about this hostel is the location- perfect for exploring Seoul on foot, access to three subway lines and loads of food/drink places just out of the doorstep. The staff are very friendly and helped us arrange a DMZ tour. Slight negative: the bathroom gets a bit smelly. I would still recommend this place, and we stayed four nights and loved it!

Fantastic location

On Y2013 I had stayed here and on Y2017 I have select this Apple Backpacker to stay again. They change address from Y2013 but the facility and comfortable is the same for all. If I have the third time to visit Seoul , I will absolutely to stay this place for sure.

Good Location. Near food street. Short walk access to many place for sightseeing and shopping.

Hotel also provide water, coffee and tea for free.

Excellent

The hostel itself is located in an authentic Korean area, with shops, restaurants and a transport hub on 3 lines. Overall, it's a great choice for budget accommodation.

Excellent choice for a budget stop.

Excellent location, comfortable and clean. The kindness of the staff is exceptional! It has its own in... small but there are definitely. But the price justifies everything! Absolutely advisable if you stay a few days, breakfast is not included but they have a dedicated area where you can make toast, warm up dinner or drink free coffee or tea, which is not always discounted.

Unforgettable staff

It was a very economical hotel, very close to the subway, with a friendly and smiling reception, but the room was poor. A 2 cm space under the door allows you to enjoy everything that happens at the reception and in the hallway. The stained bathtub and a rather suspicious color, which reminds you of a remnant from another age. If you have a choice, I highly recommend the same owner's Banana Backpackers, which is 5 minutes away, and of much better quality.

Cheap and well-placed but a bit dim

We were in Seoul for a week, in July 2014. We flew together with our daughter - an amusement park, a water park, a kiosk, a zoo park, etc. We ordered this mini-hotel (hostel) via the internet. The impressions are quiet and terrifying. It's located in the center, near the subway - it's pleasant. The rooms are super tiny, the staff doesn't speak Russian, only the young girl speaks English. The water in the rooms is a little warm, practically cold. The air conditioner hangs over the bed - you know, five minutes goes by, it's heard.
