Good location besides the subway only. Nice design with a huge jacuzzi, only thing to complain is that the beds are hard as the ground... but staying in korea before, i guess that is to be expected. 

Before you book though, understand that this is a love motel, you might see some channels on the tv that you might prefer your kids not to see, but if you are a couple travelling, it is definately romantic and value for money. 

Love motel but not sleazy

I booked this hotel via booking.com and made an arrangements with them for early check-in at 00:00 AM ON THE 5TH MAY as i will be reaching seoul on the 4th May at 22:00hrs and this arrangement was agreed and confirmed by the manager or the "OWNER" of this hotel(i shall not disclosed the name) with the email replied confirmation.The hotel is not that easy to search anyways and its suitable for people to check in for few hours only so its not a family friendly hotel. Reached the hotel at 11:30 PM on the 4th may and went to the reception, and guess what they said "Sorry there is no room tonight ,and its fully booked!" My sis and I was shocked over the phrase and expression that the staff gave to us and the best part is, not even one of their staff know how to speak basic english! So we fought with them and demand for a room but they say that they cant accommodate to our request and ask us to come back the next day for check in. We stood there for a long time in the cold weather, and they keep calling their boss. So we decided to talked to their boss in the phone and explained the situation.Still, the boss said that we are at fault cause for their understanding 00:00 hrs is consider 12 AM on the 5th itself and which hotel would accommodate to this kind of request and we did told the boss that there is several hotel that could accommodate to this kind of request and he kept silence. so we told him that its okay for tonight we wont check in and we will come the next day and the boss decided to let us stayed in their neigbourhood hotel nearby called "HOTEL CULLINAN" for that one night but charges us "60000 WON" ($74 SGD) for one night stay! AND the condition of the room is terrible+horrible! worst room that i ever seen in my whole entire life with sinks leaking,tv cant be operated and etc. Finally we decided to called booking.com and told them that we wanted to cancel our booking with this hotel and booked another better hotel than this and they agreed with it. so we quickly made another booking and guess what much more better service than this HOTEL!

TERRIBLE TIME MANAGEMENT AND CHECK IN SERVICES!

The room was small even I had booked deluxe double
No free Wi-Fi as advertised
PC LAN speed was slow.
Room wording was in Korean, the hotel never consider the foreigner stay.
Water sink drain too slow

This place was fairly clean, the bed was stiff but normal by Korean standards. We were in the tree room with the circle bed. The bathtub was cool because it was squishy on the bottom but not in a gross way, more like an exercise mat kind of way- but still smooth. The toilets were really nice and clean. We didn't hear any noise or disturbance from other guests. The staff weren't rude but weren't out to impress either. When we told them we intentionally tried to book a room with a bigger bathtub they told us that they couldn't give us a different room. We weren't too frosted over it. For the price and for a quirky artistic hotel- you don't have to spend all that money on hotel designer. Just go here! That's what we did haha. Still had a decent time.

Quirky artistic clean love motel

Yes, it is a love motel, yes, it is not the cleanest, the towels are worn, and when the window is closed there is no daylight in the room. BUT: it is the best love motel I've ever stayed at! I can only speak of the suite, which was spacious, had a nice design and everything we wished for as a couple. We very much liked the mirrors on the ceiling ^^ The big jacuzzi next to the bed was amazing, even though the water was not really hot around midnight. There is no storage room for clothes, because most guests stay for just one night. The beds and pillows are firm and comfortable, the shower is good and the toilet seat is heated in winter. When we asked for a second large towel the service was quick and friendly. The perfect location was mentioned in other reviews already, Insadong is around the corner, many bars across Jong-ro (the big road south), and the subway station as well as many Korean restaurants just next door.

I highly recommend the suite for a special night out with your partner!
