We stayed in the triple room with bathtub in the cold winter. The floor heater temperature was very low and we had to endure 3 nights of cold even though we voiced to the management, they only answered the temperature was centrally controlled but other units were well heated. The guesthouse had a kitchen for us to cook simple breakfast. The towels provided were very small. 
The location was very near to Myeondeong station and Seoul Tower. Walking distance to halal restaurants 'Kampungku' and Myeondeong Street Markets. 
The best part of the guesthouse were the two friendly fat cats for our daughter to play with.  If you are ever in Myeondeong and travelling with small children, we recommend G-star Guesthouse because of it's location and value for money.

Great location and value for money

I’ve stayed in room 203, Namsan Guesthouse 2 for 3D 2N before fly back to KUL. 

Apparently, all guests who wanna stay at this GH must check-in here too.

Short walking distance from Myeondong Train Station Exit 3. Very near to Malaysian Cuisine Restaurant , Kampungku Restaurant (located behind GH - 2 minutes walk) and beside 24th Namsan GH.

Value for money and comfortable.

Pro’s :
- Clean room
- Clean bedsheets + comforter
- Fluffy pillow
- Good Wifi & Tv channels + tv remote working well.
- Shower & bath tub
- Got hair dryer, shower gel, toothpaste, shampoo too.
- U can use microwave & utensils.
- Free breakfast (bread+jam) & free coffee.
- Maggie & Instant Halal food can get easily since other guests left foods at the kitchen.

Con’s :
- Need to climb stairs if u book Twin Bed Room. Quite difficult for those who bring huge luggage.
- Bathroom got a bit smelly but since there is a small window, we just open it (kinda cold since we went to Seoul end of winter).

Again, we stayed in a guesthouse. Not a hotel. I gave 7.5/10 to Namsan Guesthouse 2. Keep it up!
 


Good stay! Recommended!

We have a good experience at Nansam Guest House 2, as the location is really convenient which is just a few minutes walk from Myeong-dong subway Station exit 3. Nearby have lots of shopping area and it is very near to Seoul Tower, if you are interested to go up to seoul Tower, you may go up using the cable car nearby the hotel. Overall recommended to stay as it is quiet and peaceful.

Great and comfortable place to stay

Highly recommended! friendly staff, excellent location. 

Our twin room (with window) even though a bit small was clean and comfortable. Hairdryer and basic toiletries (except toothbrush) provided. Towel is small size. Lucky to have stayed in the 1st floor. Request this if you have bulky luggage.

It has a basic (clean as you go) kitchen. Ramen and bread available all day round. Breakfast of bread, butter, jam and peanut butter is for free. Dispenser with hot and cold water. Laundry can be done for free 7pm til 6am. Although we booked Namsan GH3, we we stayed at NSGH 2 which was nearer to the train station. Apparently, NSGH 3 is already combined with NSGH 2. Short walk to Myeongdong and N Tower. Short walk to airport limo bus stop as well.
