It was my 2nd time to visit this place. Its located near Gwangheungchang Station Exit 1 near sincheon and Hongdae Area. When you make the booking, the host will contact you to give clear direction how to get there clearly. It was really helpful. The concept of this guesthouse is dormitories with separate bathrooms. They have space for make up room, well-equipped kitchen and lounge that will be opened until 2AM (you can eat your free breakfast and safe your food inside the fridge),free wifi, curtain on each bed, foldable lamp, enough electric plugs (you can charge your 2 phones, power bank, and pocket wifi at the same time). I love this part!

The host provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathrooms. You can use it freely. The only thing made me dissapointed was eventhough I booked and sent message that I wanna lower bed. The host didnt give me that but other things was fine for short sweet escape to me who are living in another city in Korea.

Simple, Affordable and Comfort

I stayed here during the peak of summer for the first time after reading plenty of good reviews. Most of it lived up to expectations but I'll just list down what I experienced. 
Location is fairly near to Gwangheungchang station, less than 5minutes walk - close to Hongdae and Sinchon area. Neighbourhood is quieter than other areas, there's a couple convenience store nearby (one otw from subway), Baskin Robbins and Tous le Jour.

The 4-bunk bedroom was okay, curtains for every bed so you get privacy. The room I stayed in had windows (plus point) so it allowed for some ventilation otherwise the room smells a bit musky/stinky. There were about six bathrooms but with rather poor ventilation which could get really stuffy after shower - perhaps not as bad during the other seasons but during summer it's just horrible. Make up room is spacious and there's hair dryer and even straightener. Simple breakfast of bread and eggs with milk and orange juice is available. You can use the utensils available to cook eggs any style. 

Guess it's expected of guesthouse but my neighbours were superbly loud, talking past midnight and at the break of dawn. Bed was hard which is okay but pillow was too flat, it didn't feel too comfy. The AC is functioning well but it sometimes regulate/stops for too long during the night it gets super stuffy and hot. I can't be sure but I think a few bathrooms were locked on purpose when occupancy was low. 

Lounge/Kitchen was spacious, and there's tv as well. A couple times though they turn off the standalone air conditioned unit when there's people still hanging around which I find odd. 

Wished they weren't so strict with checkout because I totally forgot about the timing (my bad) but they made me felt like I was being chased away and out the door before I knew it..I couldn't even pack up properly and lock my luggage so just be mindful of that. The owners was friendly and nice though although I didn't really had a chance to speak with them.

P.s: bumped into an ahjumma that helps out at the guesthouse, she is super friendly. She doesn't communicate in English but she still tries to speak with you :)

Slightly disappointed 

This place is situated in Hongdae near Hongik University. It is also walking distance from Sinchon shopping area. This place is very convenient as subway is 10 minutes walk away, there are convenience stores and ample food stores around the area. We got to know about Mori Guesthouse from a recommendation of a friend. My group of friends and I occupy two 4 bedded rooms. We stayed here for 8 - 10 days. The dormitory is small but clean and tidy, there are hooks to hang your towel and clothes, furthermore there is also a cupboard to put your things. Most of the dormitory do not have a window but they have air conditioning. There is a makeup room on every floor which we love it! There is also a common room and kitchen where you have ample supply of eggs, peanut butter, bread, milk, tea and orange juice everyday. There are cooking utensils therefore you can have a hearty breakfast during your stay. The wifi connection can be quite slow during at night when most guests have return to their dorms. There is also a laundry services provided at 1000 KRW. The staff are friendly and helpful, you can ask them any questions and they are happy to provide you answers. All in all, I had a great stay in this place, will not hesitate to recommend this place to my friends anytime.

Comfortable and Affordable

This guest house has all the facilities you need and more. The girls dorms have a make up room with blow dryers and straighteners and the bathrooms have toiletries. I'd definitely consider using this place every time I come to Seoul. The only downfall is not having a window for fresh air in the dorm room but if that doesn't bother you than this guesthouse is perfect!

Great stay

I stayed at mori for 18 days with my sister in a 6shared dormitory on May 2015. It was our first time in korea and in a guesthouse sharing the rooms and bathroom with people we didnt know, and it was amazing. First of all the room is the same as you see in picture, the curtains  really helps for a little bit of privacy. I didnt feel anyone when I was sleeping really really quiet. Also because you share rooms i had the opportunity  to make friends and enjoy more Seoul. The bathrooms are cleaned many times of the day, and there are many bathrooms i didnt have to wait to use it. The location is excellent, really close to Hongdae and to the metro station and to Mcountdown studio. But the best is the staff, always there to help you antyime. I will go bavk to Mori ♡

Loved it

i stayed at the 6-female and 8-female dormitory. The rooms were clean except sometimes i could see some rubbish in the gap between the wall and my bed. there were curtains for each bed so i could sleep well at night :) it was also quiet at night! one thing to point out is that there were no windows in the rooms so u might get overslept easily!

there were quite a number of bathrooms so i didn't have to wait at all. the common area is spacious and comfortable!

the neighbourhood was good as it was near to the subway station. it was also very convenient to go to sinchon(around 10 minutes), hongdae and ehwa on foot! there are some convenience stores and restaurants around!

reasonable price!
