Good budget hotel.  Has heated floors and and air purifier that was great. 
Location easily assessable from Anguk exit 6. 
Owner is friendly, helpful and speaks English. 
Room is cozy. Bed is comfortable. Not really the space for much luggage and no lift. So need to be able to carry everything upstairs.  

Good location, comfortable 

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights and the room was perfect. We had a slight delay coming from the airport (no working ATMs and no cash to pay for transport - nowhere takes card!) And the hotel owner stayed up until past 2am to greet us. Couldn't have been more grateful for this. He showed us to our spacious room which was clean, comfortable and had great air con. We did catch a few insects in the room from time to time but didn't get bitten luckily. The bed was super comfortable and we found the location to be perfect for seeing all of the sights. Perfect hotel in the heart of Insadong

We stayed in a 12th floor apartment, just a short walk from Mini Hotel Insa itself. It felt like 'living' in Seoul, right down to the doorman wishing us a "Good Morning" each day. The apartment was well-equipped, including having a 7-11 downstairs. The location couldn't have been better with shops and restaurants near to hand, Anguk subway station just outside and the airport 6011 bus stop across the road. We had chosen this location specifically for ease of access to the sights we'd hoped to visit. The owner was friendly, spoke good English and was enormously helpful.

'Living' in a Seoul Apartment

When booking hotel before visiting Seoul, I wanted a hotel in Insadong, because Insadong is between the two big Palaces and near to other attractions.  Mini Hotel Insa is in excellent location.  Very near to Anguk metro station, as well as airport bus stop (6011 is the bus to take).  

Friendly hotel host, basic western breakfast, yet nice espresso.  There are many local Korean restaurants in the gil (streets) of Insadong, a few of them are in Insadong 14-gil, where the hotel is located.  I had a meal in a nice traditional Korean restaurant, just a few steps from the hotel.

I would however wish there is a shower cabinet, or at least a shower curtain.  Imagine after a shower, the toilet floor is all wet, and you have to brush your teeth and use the toilet.  It was alone, so I could bear that.  If you have two persons to share the room, it could be quite messy.  

I also found that there were mosquitoes in my room, despite the cool October weather.  I had to close the windows, hand killed 5,6 mosquitoes and opened the air conditioner for the sleep.

Consider all the above factors, I think it is a basic, mini hotel of great value.  I spent four nights there.

Great value mini hotel

Hidden in the middle of Insadong shopping street, surrounded by tradional hanok. Prefect in terms of cleaniless, location, comfort bedlinen, friendly host & value for every single cent that you pay for. Simple breakfast with freshly brew coffee. Best place I ever stayed after 3 visits to KR 

Prefect place to experience Seoul 

I expected a tiny dingy place to lay my head + not more. I was SO pleasantly surprised by this , yes, utilitarian, but clean and functional place with a decent breakfast. It is right in the warren of good restaurants but off busy (+ noisy) Insadong pedestrian street. Very friendly, reachable by subway. A great value for the money.

small + all you need

I was transiting through the city for a day and booked the Mini Hotel. The decision was primarily from TripAdvisor reviews. I was superbly impressed with the hotel and great host Daniel.

The room had all the amenities that I am used to. The place was clean and well managed. To top it all, the host Daniel was very glad to help with the information or any question that I had.

Location is another great positive especially if you are taking airport bus 6011. The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the Anguk bus stop. The area has number of restaurants to suit every taste though being a vegetarian, I was looking and found a small nice vegetarian restaurant in the neighborhood.

It was super convenient, and good value for my stay to put in at Mini

Friendly host, great location, and excellent value 

Very good location so close from Anguk station.Easy to access anywhere. The Owner was very kind. He was friendly and helpful.Room was very clean and comfortable. If I come to Seoul again. Exactly I don’t missed to stay Hotel mini Insa.

Small hotel but Greatest

the location is excellent, the airport shuttle bus station is just 1-minutes walk from the hotel. and you can go to insadong by just 5-minutes walk. close to many interesting places.
the room is nice, and you can get basic cleaned every day.
the breakfast is normal but enough.
there are many restaurants around the hotel as well.
the staffs are very nice and helpful, thank you bro.

perfect for backpackers

Stayed here for three nights with friends. Room was a bit small but was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was basic, some eggs and toast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, very accessible. Enjoyed my stay here1
