I have to say that i ve had a very good impression about this place. i just stay one night but , finally, I could have stayed more, because the place is wonderful / quiet, rooms are big and very neat, services very good and the food,e ven if the menu is small, good.
swimming pool is very ok, staff great
i definitly come back here

Incredible hotel in the heart of PP

The makings of a very good place are here, but the owners are overextended and can't give it enough attention. Our room was spacious with 2 windows but the sleeping mats were terribly thin. The courtyard needed sweeping and tidying (we did some of it ourselves) and in 5 days our waste baskets were not emptied.  They served a nice Korean breakfast but one morning no one came until after 9 to prepare it.  The guesthouse is in a fun neighborhood with lots of shops and cafes and the Anguk subway station is a 5 minute walk away (the airport express bus stops here as well). With more attentive management and thicker floor mats, this would be a very good place.

OK, but needs more TLC

Went korea twice, 1st time staying in a traditional hanok house. We arrived early around 10 plus, thus, the rooms are not ready. So we deposited our luggage and went to nearby attractions. When we will back around 3plus the rooms are ready. The rooms are not that big but are cozy enough for 2 pax. As we went in Apr, it is still cold weather, the floor is heated. Thus, when we slept on the mats on the floor, we do not feel very cold. The bathroom was big and clean. But the room was abit dusty, the staffs need to check it more often ba. 
The staffs are really nice and friendly. Initially, we told the staffs that we will not be having the breakfast on 1 day coz we will be leaving the guesthouse around 8am before they serve the breakfast. But surprise us, they came early and served us the breakfast around 7:30am. Really sweet of them to think for their guests. And 3 days of staying there, each morning was given different breakfast from traditional korean breakfast to western breakfast.

Tea Guesthouse also provide people to try on the Hanbok Dress. Thus, we also tried it and take photos. Really a great experience.

Nice Traditional Hanok Experience

I had guests visiting Seoul for the first time and they wanted to stay in a traditional house for a couple nights. I took them to the Tea Guesthouse. The owner was late to let us in, but the rooms were great, the mats on the floor were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It was a great place to show my friends with traditional Korean houses are like. The first time finding it was a little difficult, but the map was right on, and we found the small door to enter through just fine. Great for a couple nights.

Good introduction to a traditional Korean home.

My husband and I stayed at the main Tea Guesthouse for 2 nights in early September. It can be hard to find for the first time so keep your eye out for the TripAdvisor signboard just outside the door, on the right hand side of the street. The main door is opposite a small church building with a large red cross at night time. If arriving after 7pm you will need to call the owner to let you in. We arrived just after 7pm and didn't have a phone but a lovely passerby called the owner for us with her mobile phone. We had a comfortable room with traditional bedding on the floor. Beware if you are not used to sleeping on the floor; the mattresses will feel very thin! There are other Hanoks that offer normal beds if you aren't sure about sleeping on the floor. We didn't have time to use the TV, laptop, mini fridge but did find the free wi-fi helpful. We woke up to a lovely traditional breakfast prepared by the host. This location is only about a 5 minute walk from Anguk subway station and near GwangHwaMoon palace. From here you can take the subway to many local attractions including MyeongDong (shopping!).
