Spacious room, traditionally decorated with all the modern facilities. Delicious breakfast served at the room. Located within 5 min walking from the buses to the park and to the center of town. The owners speak good English and are very willing to help with everything. It seems like they are trying to think of anything a traveller might need or want. Stayed there with my two young daughters and we all enjoyed our stay very much. 

Highly recommanded!

Stayed for three nights whist visiting the national park for hiking the various sights. A bit out of town but on the bus route towards the park and a 300m walk from the bus stop but we’ll worth it. We were met by a lovely family that speak good English. Juha the manager spent time explaining on a map the best places to visit and eat and drink. We had a room with spa bath on the top floor which was perfect for our needs. We took our breakfast outside on one of the picnic tables each morning which set us up for the day. You may be able to get cheaper places to stay in Seorak but I doubt that you will have a nicer experience than staying here. Think homestay more than hotel.
Ohh and Juha gave us a lift back to the express bus station on our final morning 👏👏

Lovely Stay At Casa Seorak

Neatest owners, the most eclectic rooms, a great European breakfast, all at a cost that won't break the bank. The owner speaks excellent English, and it is great for providing information about the area. You can also make arrangements to be picked up if coming in by train or bus.

Great bed and breakfast close to Seorak park

We stayed here for 2 nights in july 2020.  Our GPS directed us correctly to the location and free parking is just in front of the entrance.  We had a top floor room with bubblebath.   Juha is fluent in English and easy to communicate with in private as well as online.  The room is very clean and a fridge and freezer is available as well as a small kitchenette.   Breakfast includes (french) toast, eggs, salad , jam and butter and is brought to your room between 8 and 9.30.  Driving into Seoraksan National Park is closeby.     We highly recommend this little gem.

Clean, good english speaking host, good location

Casa Seorak is run by very nice people. When we arrived, they sat down with us to look at a map and plan out our hikes in Seoraksan National Park. Rooms are large and clean and themed - I believe we were in the Hollywood actors room. A good breakfast is delivered to your door every morning, and there is always water available for fill-up in the reception area. The owners have three fluffy dogs who are very friendly. They’ll mostly ignore you, though. They have important dog stuff to do. We highly recommend staying at Casa Seorak if you’re planning a trip that involves Seoraksan National Park.

Peaceful, Cute, Close to Hiking

Juha is the perfect host. Prior to arrival, he responded promptly to all my queries & picked us from the bus terminal punctually. He gave spot on recommendations on where to eat & what to see & how to get to these. Juha speaks good English too. The lady who assisted him was also very helpful friendly and polite.

The room we had was clean, spacious and very comfortable & has a small pantry with induction hob, electric kettle ,fridge & some cutlery and crockery. Bed linen is crisp and nicely ironed & towels were clean and fluffy. 

Location is nearer to the countryside so is more pleasant and peaceful but it’s convenient: bus stop is about 5mins walk away & it takes about 15 minutes by bus to the Mt Seorak National Park. An Italian Restaurant is less than 5 minutes walk away and there’s a Korean grill pork & beef restaurant about 10-12 minutes walk from Casa Seorak. There’s a small convenience store and a sashimi center ( with a few small local restaurants selling live seafood for selection & preparation sashimi style) about 15-20 minutes walk away. 

Breakfast is nicely done & includes juice, plain toast with jam and butter or French toast, fruits & salad & eggs. There’s on site roasted coffee beans, grinder & accessories for making hand-dripped coffee in the room. 

Stayed 4 nights and will be back if we visit Sokcho & Mt Seorak National Park again.

Perfect Host; Highly Recommended 

We stayed two nights, our host was very kind and friendly, the place is beautiful and close to the bus (line 7) which heads to the Seoraksan park, thanks. The place is also close to the fish market. And the breakfast was also nice.

Great stay, beautiful place

Thanks Juha for the wonderful stay and ya, Juha was so nice to upgrade my room to higher category with beautiful spa bathtub and so comfortable. Juha run this B&B with 'heart' that makes every of the guests so memorable. Breakfast was wonderful and Juha will arrange different types of breakfast for us, so relaxing place to stay and this is the best place to stay if you visiting Sokcho (this my 2nd time but I'll be back again with my family). Juha recommend so many wonderful restaurants for us, must try the steam crab, the BBQ and the Sundubu. Surrounded by the beautiful dogs as well. 

Amazing Bespoke Service 

We enjoyed our stay at Sokcho very much because of the excellent service provided by Juha. When we arrived, he gave us recommendation to places to go and eat. Breakfast was also great. It's conveniently located near 2 great eateries, Matsu, a pasta cafe, and a korean BBQ with varieties of green veg within walking distance. It is also along the way to Seoraksan National park, which is one of the recommended place to go in Sokcho. If only we can, we would love to stay longer. Definitely a place we will recommend others who enjoy nature to stay. 

An Excellent B&B Stay

Ideal getaway location for Sokcho. Walking/running distance to the beaches and sea food. Mountain views and a short drive to Seorak National Park. This hidden gem was a great weekend escape with family and friend. The owners are super nice, facilities spacious and comfortable.
