Spa Pension Basso

My Husband and I stayed in the 'VIP' apartment on the top floor of Pension Basso with our two young children. We stayed in this room by pure coincidence but we were so happy we did! The apartment is a great size with two bedrooms, perfect for a family. The apartment even comes with a sauna and hot tub on the balcony! The children particularly enjoyed the hot tub! The apartment is very well equipped and an enjoyable place to spend time with the family. Pension Basso is run by a truly lovely couple who could not be more helpful. Their English is good and they were wonderful and patient with our young children. A simple yet beautifully presented breakfast is prepared each morning in a lovely room complete with board games and an extensive collection of the latest and greatest DVD's. We haven't been particularly impressed with the quality of Bed and Breakfasts or Air B and B options in Korea, Pension Basso is a unique find, we would love to return. My only note is that the beds are Korean style firm, we were fine for two nights but I do like a softer bed! The other plus points are the fact you can watch the sunrise from the ocean in the distance from the top floor terrace. The Pension is within easy walking distance to the rocky beach and pleasant area to stroll along the seafront. We travelled to Seoraksan National Park and Pension Basso is about a 10 minute drive to the car park for the cable car. Emart is also only a 10-15 minute drive away. I highly recommend a weekend away at Pension Basso and Seoraksan!
