⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A place we’ll remember fondly Our stay at HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel was truly special. From the moment we arrived, there was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that immediately made us feel comfortable. The location is outstanding — right on the beachfront with beautiful coastal walks just outside the door. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down and properly unwind. There were a couple of small hiccups during our stay, but what mattered most was how they were handled. A misunderstanding about late checkout was later clarified with a sincere apology from reception, which we appreciated. We also had a pre-booked taxi that didn’t show up, but we quickly hailed one outside without issue. Neither of these minor situations took away from what was otherwise a very positive experience. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming throughout. Little touches — like giving our child a small treat — showed a real family-friendly attitude and made us feel valued rather than just another room number. The swimming pool area was spotless and very well maintained. Visiting in February meant it was calm and pleasantly uncrowded, which suited us perfectly. It felt peaceful, relaxed and easy. The food was very good, with a wide selection and consistent quality. Everything felt well organised and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed in a comfort apartment and it exceeded expectations — spacious, clean, extremely comfortable and exactly what a proper 4-star hotel should provide. It felt like a place you could genuinely settle into for the week. We also chose to purchase photos from the hotel photographer. While it was an extra expense, the quality was excellent and we’re very glad to have those memories captured. Overall, we left feeling genuinely happy with our stay. It’s a hotel that delivers comfort, location, friendliness and a calm atmosphere. We would absolutely return.
